I mean, it was my first enquiry so wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. However, after doing some googling I was thinking around the £8-10k mark for a lift & implants (keeping in mind I DO NOT want big boobs, I suppose i’d go for the smallest implant possible as it’s just to fill my small saggy boobs post breastfeeding! I liked my original size (small B cup) but now they are just incredibly empty.

It seems companies such as Transform, Harley Medical Group etc charge much less than independent surgeons. I did indeed contact an independent surgeon and the STARTING cost is to be £25k+.

i just wasn’t expecting it to be that much but oh well. That isn’t doable… but I wonder how they really differ from surgeons employed by Transform, Harley Medical etc?

In need of advise?!

I was quoted £7K with no uplift and they text me over Christmas offering an extra £1000 off. That was with MYA.

I haven't actually booked anything, I was shopping around. Seemed very cheap IMO.

£25K is a lot!

AnythingBUTnursing · 18/01/2024 14:10

Turkey. 4K apparently. A colleague had it done. Couldn't say a bad word about it. She had a fantastic outcome and experience.

AnythingBUTnursing · 18/01/2024 14:11

Just to add I'm sure she mentioned uplift, implants and fat transfer if that means anything to you.

Needanewnamebeingwatched · 18/01/2024 14:12

So I have had a 360 FDL tummy tuck with breast lift and implants - Cost £7600 (March 2023)

Then inner arm lift and inner thigh lift - Cost £4000 (Jan 2024)

Both procedures I had done in Turkey, after doing my research. Really happy with the results.

Needanewnamebeingwatched · 18/01/2024 14:13

And it really annoys me when people say "you should be happy with what you have, love your body"

Why?

I love my body now and think I look fantastic.

Thanks ladies. Stopped breastfeeding around 4 months ago, never knew that they could potentially change (although they are literally completely empty I’m not holding too much hope!).

It’s just the fact that I can’t wear certain things, nothing low cut because the gap between them is crazy and soo noticeable saggy right from the top of the boob. So low cut tops/dresses are an absolute no.

Unfortunately push up bras don’t do it either, my boobs literally fold over in a push up bra and just go the most unusual and unattractive shape?!

A boob job will always look fake and plasticky on you OP, because of the wide gap you have between your breasts. It’s just the way your body is, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Beautiful3 · 18/01/2024 14:15

Just to let you know that implants have to be replaced. One lady at my grandma's nursing home was rushed into hospital, because her implants had hardened and caused her pain. The NHS removed them in an emergency.

Peanutsnanna · 18/01/2024 14:23

Please don't do this. I wish I had not. Lots of infections after a few years of implants. Also be aware that implants don't last for ever and will need replacing. Also had a lot of experience with medical negligence cases and seen some horrific sights relating to breast lifts and implants.

Ghostgirl77 · 18/01/2024 14:27

You definitely need more than four months for things to settle down after breastfeeding. It takes time for the milk cells to resorb and be replaced by fat cells again. No reputable surgeons would operate on you this early.

MrsRachelDanvers · 18/01/2024 14:30

I see lots of breasts in my job. Some look very natural and the women are very pleased with them. I do see some which have gone encapsulated and rock hard-look awful and are very painful. If someone can’t afford to have them redone, it’s pretty miserable. They do make cancer detection more difficult as you can’t see through them on a mammogram. Some women have them placed behind the pec muscle but if your breasts sag with age, this looks very odd. I totally get why women have them, just make sure you know what you’re getting into.

Oaktree55 · 18/01/2024 14:39

I had a full lift (post 2 pregnancies) 10 years ago under local (light sedation) c 4 hour operation v easy. Terrified of a GA was c£4k 10 years ago. Was 32D before kids. Having uplift worked well pleased no implants. Still the same 10 years on!! Money well spent.

pollywols · 18/01/2024 14:40

@EnjoythemoneyJane "Spaniel's ears" - lol, such a great description!

Oaktree55 · 18/01/2024 14:41

Ps mine had completely deflated post pregnancy best thing I ever did don’t listen to the women on here saying stay as you are, far better to restore what you had!

DisforDarkChocolate · 18/01/2024 14:44

Mine definitely recovered in my 30s but I was very unhappy for a while, the main difference was a husband who thinks I'm gorgeous.

TerfTalking · 18/01/2024 14:50

Honestly OP mine came back after each lot of breast feeding, twice for five months each. Took about a year but they were the same after.

thirty years later the perk has gone but they’re still “full” just not full and sticky out 😃

My friend (50) paid £10k for an uplift and implants. An uplift alone wouldn’t have given her the shape she wanted. It cost 10k in York, they look great, but somewhat suspicious on a woman of our age.

good luck, not for me but your body your choice.

confusedaboutclothes · 18/01/2024 15:00

MorrisZapp · 18/01/2024 13:30

There are trains to Scotland and Premier Inns here, but we don't make anyone stay for two weeks 😂

No I should imagine it’s in and out here! But at least you’d get a 2 week holiday to recover! That would be my excuse to OH anyway as to why i needed to go halfway across the world 😂

InAMess2023 · 18/01/2024 15:05

@Luckynumbereight not necessarily, the surgeon will work with that as well, I was only allowed a certain cc of implant because of the width of the area

Whatsgoingonwithmyhead · 18/01/2024 15:05

Honestly? I think the money would be better spent on therapy to learn self acceptance and build some self esteem if you are that insecure you’d actually pay £££££ and undergo massive surgery for the sake of “better” tits

Moveoverdarlin · 18/01/2024 15:05

If someone was knocking me out, cutting open my chest and inserting two silicone balloons I would want the best of the best and to pay an expert. The cheaper it was the more dubious I would be.

At the end of the day it’s an operation, there are huge huge costs involved.

My advice would be don’t do it. I’ve had a few surgical operations, all which were a necessity and every time I came round I thought, I can’t believe people willingly go through this.

LetMeOut2021 · 18/01/2024 15:06

Bloody hell! I’ve had my implants for ten years now and am preparing myself that they need replacing and I’ll also need a lift when that happens. I had 8-10k in mind.

WhoAteAllTheDinosaurs · 18/01/2024 15:07

4 months is no time at all. Just wait and see. Mine don't now look any different to how they did before I breastfed my son for 3 years. They get better.

HarrietStyles · 18/01/2024 15:08

I had my boobs done 5 years ago, cost £4975. I thought that I would need implants and a breast lift but I saw two surgeons at two different hospitals and they both said they wouldn’t recommend a lift, just implants. There is a lot more scarring with a breast lift and chance of loss of sensation in your nipples. They said that just the implants would give me a little bit of a natural lift and it was true. Go get a free consultation with diff surgeons and see what they recommend. I’ve never looked back, mine look so natural, love them.

LetMeOut2021 · 18/01/2024 15:09

Mine have now fed two babies. I stopped feeding 6 months ago. They do look better than they did. But they’re not what they were! Obviously. My implants don’t sit right now I’ve had children.

vix3rd · 18/01/2024 15:19

My (Now deceased) sister in law Lost 12 stone and got a boob job, then piled 14 stone back on. it was not pretty.
