I have one on my finger from pulling a cloth out of the machine and hitting it on the inside of the drum of the tumble drier above. Fucking weird turn of events!

Also sporting a small one on my head from hitting my head on the bathroom sink when pulling my jeans up about 10 minutes later. No idea how tbh

From New Year. I got very drunk and fell into the bath. I got a few from that.

IncompleteSenten · 10/01/2024 16:21

That was last week I meant to say.

Whatwouldscullydo · 10/01/2024 16:25

I bruise really easily its ridiculous. I know where the ones on my thighs came from but I have one on my arm I have no idea how I got. I've always got bruises on my knees from the counter at work

Top of my thigh almost groin from walking into the emergency stop button on the conveyor at work 😖 not for the first time

Whapples · 10/01/2024 16:26

I pushed down the door handle to the staff room, it came off in my hand and I ended up half punching the bit that was left sticking out the door. Bruised and cut up my knuckle.

Also fell down the stairs a week later and yet didn’t get a single visible bruise?! 😂

Sandytoxic · 10/01/2024 16:29

From my beagle standing on my knees.

From my beagle standing on my knees.

That is not a sentence I expected to read today.

TorroFerney · 10/01/2024 16:34

Didn’t lift my leg high enough when climbing over a stile and caught my shin.

WhatTheHeckyPeck · 10/01/2024 16:48

I slipped getting out of the over-bath shower and ping-ponged between the bath and toilet. as I fell. It went from just under my arm-pit to my waist.

YorkshireIndie · 10/01/2024 17:47

I tripped over the bouncer and landed hard on the floor narrowly missing the rocking horse. I have two beautiful busies on my knee either side of my knee cap

DRS1970 · 10/01/2024 17:55

I shut my thumb in the car boot a few weeks back. Bruising has gone now, but the nail is now a really odd shape, with a large hole in the middle.🙄

weegiemum · 10/01/2024 18:10

I've 2 on my abdomen. Have no recollection of sustaining them but they're at the right height to be from our door handles. I have ataxia (unsteady on my feet) so im always walking in to things, so im sure that's how I got them!

Arabaloosa · 10/01/2024 18:15

One on my hip from landing awkwardly whilst rugby tackling a very naughty sheep making a break for it

Pieceofpurplesky · 10/01/2024 20:00

From walking into a table corner at school (teacher) it didn't hurt but is bloody massive. I only knocked it on the corner but the bruise is black and half my (rather large) stomach. To be fair I've done this many times!

SquigglePigs · 10/01/2024 20:03

I jabbed my nail into my thigh getting undressed. Completely ridiculous!! I've since cut my nails! Hmm

Downtoyou · 10/01/2024 20:05

Got my eyebrows waxed!

sprigatito · 10/01/2024 20:07

Was a bit too enthusiastic lifting my foot to put on my new fluffy bed socks, and smacked the tops of my toes on the edge of the coffee table. Genuinely transcendental level of pain for about 40 seconds.

ForeverWinter · 10/01/2024 20:07

We have a rottie whose favourite hobby is to get something her mouth (Pillow, shoes, her rope, her toys the object doesn't matter) and then shake her head as violently as she possible can, sending said object straight into your shins, I find new bruises daily from her

I'm 65 and l wake up every morning with bruises on random parts of my body.
I only have to gently tap something these days and l bruise.. lots of very painful ones.. but that's called ageing.

@Moier

please get your iron levels checked.
This was me a few years ago - it literally took just breathing on me to bruise. Turned out I was an extremely iron and Vitamin D deficient.

egowise · 10/01/2024 20:55

I get them all the time and no idea where they come from 😂
(Nothing medically wrong, I'm just clumsy and forgetful)

Ah yes I also have bruises from this! Except mine is a 5 kilo westie 😂 Little but man she can shake a toy with some force behind it 😂 her favourite is when she hits herself around her own face with it 🤔

Bus stop 'queues'. Otherwise known 'where the teenagers shove past en masse to balance on the edge of the curb making sure nobody else gets on before they do'.

gamerchick · 10/01/2024 21:00

Plonking a pair of dumbbells in-between my thighs when I was straddling a bench. Caught both legs.

Then had to explain to husband why I had bruises on the inside of both thighs.... Who found it funny, git.

Seriously dude, get that checked out.

PiddleOfPuppies · 10/01/2024 21:06

My two smallest toes are currently purple because I tried jumping into bed while messing about with DH, and whacked them on the bedside table. I'm nearly 50 and have a bad back, so I ought to know better.
