I have one on my finger from pulling a cloth out of the machine and hitting it on the inside of the drum of the tumble drier above. Fucking weird turn of events!

Also sporting a small one on my head from hitting my head on the bathroom sink when pulling my jeans up about 10 minutes later. No idea how tbh

Bruise on my shin from bashing my leg on my chunky bed frame
A regular occurrence and now looking for a slimmer one

HoHoHolyCrap · 10/01/2024 15:46

I’ve no idea, I’m always covered in random massive purple bruises and I can only tell you where probably 25% of them come from
They just appear 🤷🏻‍♀️

TheChosenTwo · 10/01/2024 15:47

Big one on my leg, stumbled into the wheel of a (parked) car on NYE that was sticking out.
And one on my nose/under my eye where I headbutted my light fitting 🫠
Good start to the new year 😂

A couple of days apart.

Walked into a heavy doorhandle and massively bruised my shoulder/top of my arm.

Got back into the car, forgetting the sun visor was down and gave myself a black eye.

I'm on blood thinners for a heart condition and I wake up with a different bruise every day! I have sleep apnea as well and sleep walk which means I fall back to sleep on the toilet often fall off about 3 hours later 😅😅

No idea. I just get random bruises.
Things do seem to jump out on me though. Door frames, tables etc.

Same here, on both points. I always have a mystery bruise somewhere. Door frames and bedroom furniture are the worst culprits for jumping out at me. I've had the same furniture in my bedroom for over 5 years and yet it still manages to clonk me on the knee / arm / foot / hand every few days.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 10/01/2024 15:53

Walked around on my knees around low roof loft whilst tidying up. Both knees gave big bruises.

SunflowerSeeds123 · 10/01/2024 15:53

Same here with blood thinners. The last bad bruise was when I fell up the stairs at work. Nice bruise on the knee. I also rubbed my eyes too hard once and one of them was very very bloodshot. Damn tablets.

Ive got constant leg bruises as Im shite at navigating round table corners

MissCalamity · 10/01/2024 15:57

Walked into my bed post, thankfully on the other side of my previous bruise of doing the same thing from last week. My bed has been in the same place for 10 years 🙈🤣

Borka · 10/01/2024 15:58

One on my knee, where a woman on the tram almost ended up in my lap when the tram started. One from banging my arm on the towel rail.

Devilsmommy · 10/01/2024 15:58

I've got a constant one on my knee from kneeling on side of toddlers cabin bed to put him down to sleep. Seriously considering knee pads for the job🤣

Blueberrycreampie · 10/01/2024 15:58

Got one on my inner arm from a blood test yesterday.

gannett · 10/01/2024 16:00

Diving for a shot when playing DP at tennis. Won the point though 🙂

NewYearNewMeMamma · 10/01/2024 16:00

One on my ankle from slipping on a travelator after some teenagers turned it off whilst I and others were going down it 😡

Soubriquet · 10/01/2024 16:00

No idea. I get random bruises all the time and I don’t have a clue how

margotrose · 10/01/2024 16:04

One of the dogs I walk jumped at me to get some chicken, lol.

Staticgirl · 10/01/2024 16:05

Walked into the handle of a kitchen drawer at my mum's house. Before that I bashed my knee of the side of a door in my own bathroom. I am flipping clumsy and usually I don't remember how I got my bruises.

Giggorata · 10/01/2024 16:05

I'm always covered in bruises too, from hostile inanimate objects usually.

The most recent are: a huge bruise on my toes and top of my foot, when I stubbed my toe really badly, breaking it; one on my calf, origin unknown; one on my eyebrow, caught it on the corner of a Christmas decorations box in the cupboard; one on my upper arm from the sharp corner on my bed footboard, which is quite tall. I do this last constantly too, and I'm glad it isn't at head height.

Ponderingwindow · 10/01/2024 16:09

tripped over a box on the floor, fell into wall elbow first.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 10/01/2024 16:10

I often have bruises on my leg from walking into my desk at work. Which is in the same place it's always been for the nine years I've worked there!

Currently have one on my hand from the cannula I had removed when I left hospital a little while ago

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 10/01/2024 16:14

I got one on my knee. I was wearing very satiny pyjamas and I sat perched on the very edge of the bed, twisted round to get something off the bedside table and slid straight off onto the hard floor Blush. I'll be truthful and say that alcohol had been consumed, but it was the swooshiness of the pyjamas and the perching that did it, honest.

TeabySea · 10/01/2024 16:17

Purple and black bruise on my little toe where I scratched it hard as it was itchy.

Neriah · 10/01/2024 16:18

Bought a new cooker that had a different footprint, bent down to pick something up. Hit my forehead on the corner that I didn't notice was there. Thought I'd got away with it. Two days later, woke up to find a huge black bruise all around my eye that made it look like someone had hit me - on a beach holiday in Mexico! Thank God for sunglasses....

IncompleteSenten · 10/01/2024 16:20

Nurse came out to try to take blood. I ended up with bruises in the crook of both arms and on the back of both hands.
And she didn't get any blood. A different nurse had to come out a few days later. Got blood. No additional bruises but I feel like if I was a cartoon I'd take a drink of water and look like a sprinkler.
