OP posts:
TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 16/09/2024 19:02

Par-boiled.

Said only by the minions of the Antichrist.

PutOnYourRedShoesAndLetsDance · 16/09/2024 20:13

TheAverageJoanne · 17/09/2024 08:01

Suck it up. Just saw on here and it makes me furious.

Unicorn34 · 17/09/2024 13:32

Moist
Sexy ... as in an object or concept
Innit
Superb

AffIt · 17/09/2024 13:39

I can't abide the word 'tasty'.

No idea why. Completely irrational.

What do you say instead though? Part-boiled?

Hard no. No means no, what other type is there, a soft no?

Gifted used instead of given.

Gotten
Grabby

DoubleParent · 17/09/2024 13:51

Picky tea.

Makes me feel sick. That flamin cruise woman off the telly years ago occasionally has a show on Radio 2 which she calls this. I feel sick even typing about it.

Gifted

Ordering in a restaurant and the waiter/tress says 'perfect' after everything you order.

Or in pub restaurants when they put your plate in front of you and say 'there you go guys'.

MissAshworth · 17/09/2024 14:11

‘Just that really’

’Picky bits’

increasinglyconcerned · 17/09/2024 14:15

As I said

I find this so rude and cannot believe how many people use this as general conversation flow. Even when i interview people who are trying to put their best foot forward use it. They just think they are making good bridges in conversation but it's so rude in my opinion.

Alalalalalongalalalalalonglonglilong · 17/09/2024 14:16

Scuttle

FozzieWozzieWasABear · 16/09/2024 14:04

‘No, I’m good…’ when asked if they’d like a drink/food/anything.

Why,

TulipCat · 17/09/2024 14:20

Glow up
Hot choc
Any form of bunging, flinging or chucking things in the oven

fandjango · 17/09/2024 14:20

Can I get..

Hey Guys..(influencers)

I'm going in with..(influencers) when adding some flour or ingredients for recipes I find it infuriating!

Thindog · 17/09/2024 14:22

“They done amazing.”
“I’m good.”Well, I asked how are you, I am not enquiring about your moral standing.

Followed by "Enjoy!"

SquashPenguin · 17/09/2024 14:25

Pop of colour

Saying 'poorly' instead of ill- sounds like you're a right wet wipe. I don't know why I just hate that word! 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 17/09/2024 14:27

increasinglyconcerned · 17/09/2024 14:16

Why,

Because it's not grammatical. It should be "I'm well". You wouldn't say "I'm not having a well day", would you?

BogusHocusPocus · 17/09/2024 14:28

Love you all the pennies
Love you to the moon and back

Fuck off.

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 17/09/2024 14:29

"With respect" before going on to be bloody rude!

Waterbaby41 · 17/09/2024 14:30

'To be quite honest...'
So, you are lying most of the time🥺

(Most) people would look at you like you had a second head if you answered ‘I’m well’ to whether you’d like a drink or whatever.

TheAverageJoanne · 16/09/2024 14:00

Veggies. Why is it necessary to infantilise vwgetables?

Roasties. Almost puts me off eating them!
