I did some work for Zoe Ball for a while. She’s exactly as she comes across on screen/radio - warm, friendly, hyper energetic, kind and generous to a fault. Impossible to get a word in edgeways though!

Melanie Sykes was lovely when I met her. Not at all rude.

Kate Adie was dazzling - clever, charismatic and a little bit terrifying.

Feargal Sharkey - nice chap, quite quiet but polite and friendly.

Jamie Redknapp and Louise (this was back when still together, before they married) were lovely. Harry Redknapp on the other hand, was utterly horrid. Rude and up himself.

Nick Clegg was charming, clever and great sense of humour. Didn’t take himself too seriously at all. Very interesting to talk to.

Alastair Campbell was very charismatic - walked in the room and immediately all eyes were on him. Great presence. Friendly and polite to everyone too.

I have seen ginger spice in Westfield 10 tears ago. Really petite and smiley lady. I generally dislike both her and her husband though. :)

I worked with Alfie Boe before he became famous. Lovely cheeky chap and he doesn't seem to have changed.

Film rather than TV. It’s good, well worth a watch. She’s excellent in it.
She was in that TV series recently, thriller about a swanky but weird house and the girlfriends of the bloke who owned it kept mysteriously dying. The Girl something?
Also Surface, thriller about her waking up from an accident with no memory.

I've met Joseph Fiennes several times - really lovely, completely unstarry. Far shorter than I expected, but incredibly handsome.

Really pleased to hear this as he always seems so lovely. He was on a 'Comic Relief does Fame Academy' reality show in 2005 and just came across as a top bloke.

Went to school with Preeya Kalidas before she became an actress.

Met Phillip Schofield when he was a guest at our school, back in his Going Live days.

Met Kris Akabusi when he was a guest during a sponsored sport event. He was very chatty, and yes, he really does laugh like that.

Went to school with Rosie Martell (Casualty, I think) when she was in Growing Pains. I never spoke to her but one of my friends described her as conceited.

My dad has met a few celebrities at his work place, and he spoke particularly highly of Brian May. Very kind.

More recently, I met Ben Crompton (Eddison Tollet from Game of Thrones, Shanker from Strike), in the food queue at the Great North Run in 2022. He was a friend of the running club mate I was with at the time, and I got a "Hello Pet!" from him, while he chatted to our mutual friend.

People have been talking about Georgia Tennant - David's wife - who allegedly gets quite celebzilla on behalf of her husband.

I don't know that area but Norfolk's a bit the same for valuing people's privacy, a friend once realised that her family were sitting next to another family who looked a bit familiar, William, Kate and one or two of their children.

I’ve remembered another again many moons ago

the Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. I curtsied as you do and fell on Philip 😬 and I quietly swore or so I thought as he said I heard that and laughed, so I laughed too. He winked at me as he left. As loads said he was a grumpy git not with me he wasn’t but I think falling on him broke the ice.
I was ribbed for weeks after that.

id already met the Queen as a child and got a smacked bottom cos I wouldn’t give her the flowers I was suppose to, so we shared. I took her hand and smiled and said love you I was 5. She didn’t stop me doing this but her lady in waiting was not happy by the glares I got all this told by my aunt who found this hilarious.

Not me, but my friend once hosted Prince Phillip at a sporting event. He said he was extremely imperious and hilariously sweary, but he quite liked him nonetheless.

My partner and I love Ricky gervais and often visit Hampstead Heath. We always say how we’d love to bump into him as we have 2 dogs and he’s a dog lover. We were walking down the street about 2 weeks ago and he came strolling past us, so random and we couldn’t believe it. Unfortunately he was on the phone so we didn’t say anything. Would love to meet him properly though.

All those Johnny Depp fans are deranged. Regardless of what you think of Amber Heard, a man who smashes up a kitchen cabinet during a sweary drunken rant, in front of his wife (classic intimidation tactic), is not someone any normal person would want to spend much time with.
