I'm doing this creamy garlic chicken with baby potatoes and whatever green veg looks like it needs to be used first!

Tired here. M and S spinach and ricotta tortellini with butter, black pepper and Parmesan. Followed by the last of the ice cream leftover!

onestepfromgrace · 04/01/2024 17:46

Ive just had roast butternut & roast pepper soup that I made with chilli spices and some red lentils. And a chunk of yellow sticker Olive bread from Sainsburys.

MinnieTruck · 04/01/2024 17:47

Pork bites, mash, prawns and some veg. One child will have tuna pasta and the other will have spag bol!

FiftyNotNifty · 04/01/2024 17:50

@ffishfingersandtoes do you have a link for that? It sounds amazing!

Mirrormeback · 04/01/2024 17:50

Schnitzel, Chios and peas

Simonjt · 04/01/2024 17:51

We’re having Swedish ‘meat’balls, mash, green veg, sauce and lingonberry sauce. Its my first time trying faux meat, so I’m not sure what to expect, they’re from the frozen section at ikea. I’ve never tried whatever meat the meat ones are made from (pork?) so I’ll have no idea if they taste like the real thing.

Mirrormeback · 04/01/2024 17:54

Pork schnitzel with chips and peas

Mrsjayy · 04/01/2024 17:54

@Simonjt the no meat meatballs from ikea are lovely.

Biscuithelp · 04/01/2024 17:56

northernstars · 04/01/2024 17:59

JamSandle · 04/01/2024 18:01

Saving money so toast and PB!

therealcookiemonster · 04/01/2024 18:03

creamy parsnip and chestnut soup with homemade brown rolls. I put too much pepper in the soup so a bit spicy 😓

if I am still hungry I have prawn dim sum and other snacks bits around

Tranquilaroma · 04/01/2024 18:04

Toasted sourdough topped with sliced apple, grilled goats cheese, toasted walnuts and drizzled with honey.
Serving up a herby salad on the side too.

Partner back home about 10pm so having a pressed juice to keep me going (and lots of tea!)

Justonedayatatime11 · 04/01/2024 18:12

Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and gluten free spring rolls followed by gluten free apple pie and ice cream

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 04/01/2024 18:17

A really substantial minestrone, with pasta, butter beans, lots of veg, and garlic bread.

Home-made cottage pie, but not really cottage pie as I put peppers and Ragu sauce in it, and no carrots 😄

Curlyshabtree · 06/01/2024 14:39

I’m going to make Tagine Zitoune. It’s a chicken, green olive and carrot stew. Very easy.
