What compliments do you pay your cat?

Light hearted of course but I'm having a really rough time health wise, made 1000x better by my lovely cat who is snoozing with me currently.

I can't help showering him with compliments as he is so adorable and I wondered whether other people are the same and what they say!

Today I couldn't help but tell him that he is authoritative but squidgy and has the silkiest fur.

Happy to hear re other creatures too!

Lazy fluff bomb

'OMG you're so stinky and disgusting', but said in a baby voice while tickling him.

I told Oscar that lots of people on Mumsnet think their cat is the most beautiful in the world, but explained that none of them had seen him. He accepted that as reasonable.

I ask him if he is the most staggeringly handsome cat on the planet and he replies that he is.
It's a good and useful conversation that we have a lot.

I call my big boy our neighbourhood watcher and say he's the best there ever was and oh so handsome. I check if the birds are still scared of him - they are not - and how clever he is for checking on all the fallen leaves. Then I usually sing his Noisy Eater song while I give him biscuit fusses.

Little cat gets Frankie Valli songs sung to her with her name in and compared to lots of soft things, like clouds, pillows, rabbits and we check her toe beans are still lovely. Spoiler - they are.
