What compliments do you pay your cat?

Light hearted of course but I'm having a really rough time health wise, made 1000x better by my lovely cat who is snoozing with me currently.

I can't help showering him with compliments as he is so adorable and I wondered whether other people are the same and what they say!

Today I couldn't help but tell him that he is authoritative but squidgy and has the silkiest fur.

She is not my cat, but belongs to a neighbour and just likes to visit. I tell her that she is my most beautiful girl, has the fluffiest white tum and the best whiskers, lovely grey ears and a little pink nosie-nose which matches the titchy toe beans.

My cat is an arsehole. She's 16 though so I guess is entitled to be. I think she thinks I've changed her name to Fark off fluffy.

Cats are the best.

My boy is beautiful, wonderful, fluffiestest, handsome and cuddlesome, he has the fluffiest, most kissable tumber and gorgeous big pawsies.

Velvet gets a good girl if she does something like not chewing the Christmas tree. Mostly I fuss by hand as she is unfortunately one slice short of a sandwich, so she gets a stroke for eating, sleeping, not walking into objects. We also have meow conversations but I don’t actually speak Cat so I could easily be saying “oh beautiful little snow leopard” or “your father was made of mustard and your mother smelled of a rotten banana”.

Boy cat (part Maine Coon) is told frequently that he is majestic, has the floofiest tummy and the best huge paws.
Girls cat (all black short haired moggy) is the slinkiest, prettiest girl.

Both cats are Best Cat. It's illogical for them both to be Best, but it's still true. If any cats on this thread are also called Best Cat, they are Best too.

I inform the number one mousie murderer that he’s not so very tough and not so very big and he’s just a fozzy little fella. His sister gets told whenever she happens to pass through that she is a sphinxy minxie with a lovely lady-face. They also both know what kisses are mwa mwa mwa mwa mwa mwa

I used to tell mine that she was a big fat fluffy lady cat and that she looked like a baby panther all said in a silly voice.

I compliment their furriness and their floofiness, and I admire the quality of the shapes they make. I take notice of particularly good-quality yawns and stretches, as well as the delightful texture of their toe-beans and how nice and clean they keep their paws. I also praise them for coming in nicely and not messing about in the dark, for greeting me with raised tails and friendly noises, and for sharing nicely with each other when sofa space is at a premium. Or, you know, just for generally existing in the universe. Cats are great. Did I mention that cats are great? Think I'll go and pet the cats now, brb

Not So Tough Guy and Sphinxy Minxy 😹

Mine is the prettiest pretty princess and the bestest little murder machine. She's all black and quite tiny with very little brain. I've had a few cats and she is by far the least bright but is somehow even more adorable for it.

She's just a cute little fluffy dummy

She is also the cutest floofiest little derp.

She is also the best mouser, perfect little predator, fluffy baby and my cosy little shadow.

I encourage her plans for utter world domination and confirm that one day all beings will cower and kneel before her.

She is not at all thankful for this as she takes her greatness for granted.

She’s my best and only girl, and also the best fetcher, and sometimes she’s such a good girl. Occasionally she is also a naughty girl. Especially with the Christmas tree. And she often has to be told not to do that to the nice rug or the nice carpet. But she’s always my best, most beautiful and only girl.

Beautiful! We had a white cat, lost him a few years ago sadly and we still miss him loads. That curled up position really reminded me of him 😻
