I can’t remember this song!!

If anyone gets it then they are a genius! Can’t remember any lyrics or who it’s by but it’s a female singer, very similar vibes to moonlight shadow by Mike oldfield. Maybe about a failed relationship but I can’t remember. So basically I’m asking what songs are like moonlight shadow 😂

I’ve never heard this song so listened to it to see if it reminded me of anything. It didn’t really but sparked a memory of another song which I couldn’t remember anything about except the words “She Says” and that the singer spoke rather than sang part of it and was dressed as a cowboy. 😂 Anyway turned out to be Ain’t no Doubt by Jimmy Nail and he’s not dressed as a cowboy at all - that was the video for Crocodile Shoes.

I found out what the song was by looking through a list of number ones for the 90s. Took me about 2 mins! Maybe you could do similar if you think it might have been number one!

Yellow River by Christie? Wrong decade but I suppose hearing a song in the 80's doesn't mean it was released then.

I’m so grateful for all your help, I only expected a couple of replies, if that!
i haven’t worked it out yet and am really starting to doubt myself, and I’ve given you such scant info. Memory is a strange thing, there’s every possibility that it’s nothing like moonlight shadow, but reminded me of it for some reason.
i promise I’ll come back and let you all know if I remember but I’m not holding out much hope with my seemingly rubbish memory!!
