Halfway between Leeds and Sheffield.

Wakefield is actually closer than both, but I havn't quite hit my head round it being a city, even though it's been a while now!

I travel to York about once a week for work.

Gloucester. Our nearest town is much much nicer, has a better choice of shops and feels safer, so never go there for shopping. The cathedral and docks are nice for a change though.
