We live pretty much equidistant between two.

It used to be Inverness, that's a wee jewel of a place to go in to.

Visited Inverness for the first time in years this Spring and it is indeed a little gem of a place! Highly recommend.

Bristol is my closest city.

I live in between Nottingham and Derby, pretty equal distance between the two. Derby is an absolute shit hole, Nottingham is not bad.

It has recently become Doncaster but as nothing has changed it doesn't feel city like. Rarely went when it was a town.

9 miles from leeds.
30 miles from York.
Visit York a lot.
But it's an hour and half to the Dales or the East Coast and have a drive to these places every month ( even winter).
