Ive just put on the roasties and hoping they turn out great, fingers crossed...need to put in the other stuff soon, at the stage starting to get hungry and just hoping it all comes together OK

Personally I'd be happy to read my book in bed and eat toast....but needs must.

Have not felt very xmassy at all this year hence being on MN. Boo. Hopefully will feel more xmassy once the kids are in bed tonight!

I'm scrolling online, on the recliner chair, digesting my dinner with a cup of tea while the oven trays have a soak. DP is softly snoring on the sofa. Candles are lit, the heating is on and I'm feeling so comfy and contented.

Drinking Prosecco and listening to OH and DD make the dinner… I keep popping in to “help” . My main aim is not to. I have done everything else this Christmas 😆😆

Just woken up from a nap. Had dinner yesterday, opened presents today, PILs came for turkey sandwich lunch, but for some reason I am drained!

Watching a film and thinking about getting pudding. Nice and quiet here.

Just had a snooze on the sofa after a huge lamb dinner, now slowly drinking bucks fizz whilst watching The Wizard Of Oz. I'm alone for Christmas night but I'm really not arsed. It's just another day.

For anyone alone and struggling - it's nearly over x

Very chilled Christmas here, no visitors today so we’re all very relaxed. Had our starter around 3, still haven’t had our Christmas meal ( even though everything is ready) will plate up in a while, seem to be stuck to the sofa today!! Merry Christmas all

We're having free range turkey crown with 2 types of stuffing, herby garlic roast potatoes, parmesan roasted brussels sprouts, roast carrots & parsnips, marrowfat peas, cranberry sauce & gravy. Currently drinking champagne & chateau neuf du pape for dinner..

Drinking Prosecco whilst watching The Terminal and keeping up to date with basketball scores lol Both DC are upstairs chilling, the poor cat is asleep upstairs. She is shattered. And OH is chilling too 😊

Feeling sad for something that should have been but never was, while trying to stay strong and take my mind off things.
Looking forward to reading a good book tonight when the kids are asleep.

Half watching Elf and drinking ameretto and Diet Coke having just finished the most amazing Christmas dinner that DS (14) made. DS is now upstairs playing on his PlayStation as he got a new steering wheel. DH is watching Elf too and the dog is fast asleep having had the best day ever!

After Elf, we’re going to play Monopoly as we got the new local edition from my parents and then have dessert and chill.

I think this is my favourite ever Christmas 🥰.

About to have a nap as am shattered from having a flu and DD already sleeping as she is sick too. If I wake up tonight maybe a movie.

Just sat down to a bit of strictly before the timer goes off to put the spuds in the oven.
