I spent all day exhausted and dying for bed, come upstairs and found a new lease of life. I have the dog beside me, laptop here, netflix on, glass of wine on the go and I have to be up at 7.30 tomorrow.

Admitted to hospital last night on an antibiotic drip.it is making me vomit and itch wildly all over.. not conducive to a decent night of sleep.
Hmm, somehow i think id prefer the fwb scenario😅

You could be having an allergic reaction to the drop. Have you told anyone about the itching. It could become very serious very quickly.

I hope you feel better soon.

scoobysnaxx · 06/12/2023 02:36

Breastfeeding!

Toddlerteaplease · 06/12/2023 02:36

I'm on nights!

YouOKHun · 06/12/2023 02:46

I’m at my most wide awake at about 2am as a matter of course and usually get to sleep about 2.45-3, but sometimes I stay awake all night (not by choice). I get up at 7.30am. I get through the day but that’s all I do. I could sleep like a baby at about 4pm but I’m at work then. I’ve been like this for a few years and it’s really aged me. No solution.

@mondaytosunday my son had two Oxford interviews today one of which was quite stressful as he was presented with questions about Sorites paradox (no me neither) which threw him a bit. I’ve read up about it now and even that hasn’t sent me to sleep! good luck to your DD.

I'm on nights!

Then I'm glad you're awake 🤣

Lem0nie · 06/12/2023 02:57

Having cuddles with my 5 day old baby who is still very mixed up with days and nights. Hoping he catches on soon because I’m exhausted!

Sholkedabemus · 06/12/2023 03:02

Pains in my legs. It’s an ongoing problem for me. The doctor says do exercises and take painkillers. Nothing helps.

rickyrickygrimes · 06/12/2023 03:24

Blocked nose, sore throat, headache. I need to get up and take a paracetamol. Plus we found out today at work that a colleague has been diagnosed with cancer. She’s only 33 and has a baby less than a year old, and she’s already been in hospital for months. It’s so sad and crap. My boss has to tell everyone tomorrow so that’s going to be hard.

MeinKraft · 06/12/2023 03:30

Woke up needing to pee. Stupidly picked up my phone and now here I am mumsnetting instead of sleeping!

AutumnCrow · 06/12/2023 03:31

Exhausted but can’t stop bloody coughing.

I’m bored with myself now. It’s Day 14 of this nonsense.

tiggergoesbounce · 06/12/2023 03:39

Poorly child, hes snoozing, i haven't been able to get any sleep since he woke me at 11.50 - i dropped off at 11.30 🤣🫣

Angrymum22 · 06/12/2023 03:39

I’m on anastrozole, it totally f*^ks up sleep I woke up at 3 thinking it was at least 7am. Feels like I’ve had a good nights sleep but I’ll probably get another hour at the most before I have to get up for work.
I only work two days a week and on non work days I can granny nap.
I can go for weeks with no sleep disturbance but currently have had nearly a month of chronic insomnia.
Only three more years of taking the drug. Yay!!

everyonebutme · 06/12/2023 03:42

Partner snoring, mind whirring thinking about things I've got to do. Decided to give up trying to sleep and get up.

theotherfossilsister · 06/12/2023 03:46

Just basked partner to take baby in other room so I can get some sleep but now terrified they'll unsafely cosleep, so can't sleep anyway.

Libmama · 06/12/2023 03:49

Breastfeeding my 11 month old. Trying to keep my eyes open 🥱

Happylemons · 06/12/2023 03:51

I've been awake with my 13 month old for 2hrs and counting. I'm sitting in a chair, he's wide awake in his cot, just staring at me and refusing to sleep... perfectly content until I try to leave the room to go back to bed. Alarm set for 6:30!

CaribbeanCupcake · 06/12/2023 03:56

I'm almost 32 weeks pregnant and waking up around this time seems to be my new habit 😭 luckily I'm off work for a week so don't have to get up in the morning

GenerousGardener · 06/12/2023 03:58

I have a liver condition called PBC. One of the side effects is interrupted sleep. Me n the dog have been downstairs and had a snack of muesli . Back in the spare bedroom now cos DH is snoring loudly.

Guibhyl · 06/12/2023 03:59

@CaribbeanCupcake snap, also nearly 32 weeks! My toddler woke up crying at 3am so I let her come into bed with me and she went back to sleep but I feel so uncomfortable and sick and can’t sleep. Think baby is pressing on my stomach 🤢

CrebillionFils · 06/12/2023 04:01

Migraine and now the baby is awake 🫠

WalkingPrimrose86 · 06/12/2023 04:01

Littlest Primrose just woke for a feed, which I’m giving now. I’ve just had a tedious two weeks of pain with a badly sprained back, so my husband has been up and down in the night fetching the bottles. I am now going to do that for a couple of weeks to let him rest - usually we’d alternate one night each.

I can hear the man over the road getting home from a night shift, someone jogging up and down, and the Milk and More man has just been past.

iseeyousister · 06/12/2023 04:19

Had terribly disrupted sleep with covid then anxiety for about three weeks, waking repeatedly in a panic. Today I felt suddenly calmer and yesterday evening we had a power cut and I've just been woken by the surge of lights coming back on 😂

checkedcloth · 06/12/2023 04:20

Awake, stressing about work. This is a nighty occurrence. My mind is racing, I have a rising sense of panic and won’t sleep now. Up in 2 hours and in total dread.

ChewbaccasMrs · 06/12/2023 04:24

No idea, bloody overthinking again and I have to be up in a few hours and I've got a really busy day and a dentist appointment ahead of me and I'll be shattered when the alarm goes off.

JustFrustrated · 06/12/2023 04:27

I went to be at 910.
Fell asleep at 11ish

Woke up at 4 after really bad dreams. DH is away (hence bed at 9) so I'm about to put some guided sleep meditation on Alexa to go back to sleep
