Are you concerned that the white population is declining ?

I am not white and this is a healthy discussion!

The last consensus in the UK showed a decline in the white British population. This is similar to the USA which will see only around 50% of a white population by 2045. Whites are also on the decline in South Africa.

Putin has recently called for Russian women to have 8 or more babies.

Is this the right approach, what action, if any should be taken or is this just part of ‘evolution’?

i just wondered how white families felt about this? I would be quite upset if my race was on the decline

BTW is there a similar increase in mixed race births? Curious as we need to diversify as a species really not stick to the same tiresome gene pool

And my uterus doesn't belong to the state but thankfully, even the current shower we have in government aren't as much of a bellend between them as Putin is, alone.

Interesting. I'm part of a mixed race family. I'm white. I sometimes think about the increase in mixed race families and how in the future people could be so mixed that some features unique to particular ethnic groups could be lost. So a slightly different concern along the same lines.

I’m concerned about the seeming increase in tensions between races. It’s hard to know what’s reality and what’s the internet. Numbers don’t matter when there’s harmony.

I'm concerned that there may become 'white' and 'black' and 'Indian’ (etc - choose your own headings) areas (people living in groups and mixing less) rather than people mixing and mingling.

Numbers don’t matter, but harmony does.

I think as long as it's because you have have immigration and different races are having relationships (so more mixed race people over time) then it's good.

I think it's less good if you had a highly segregated populations of different races where some were having far more children than others, because that's when you're more likely to get racial tensions.

What a weird post! Particularly throwing out a suggestion that Putin's call for women to have 8 children might be 'the right approach'. Utterly bizarre.

I'm white, and I'm not bothered. Nor do I feel the need to breed like a rabbit to try and keep 'my race' going. It's far too Nazi like.

But mixed race families are increasing so that is good.

If this is true, bearing in mind that 'Russia' covers a huge area of people from different races, then we all know there's no reason to worry.
