Thank you. As mum of a trans dd (who incidentally is too scared to leave the house most of the time, and would be terrified to ever use the women’s toilets. And who incidentally isn’t even attracted to women and has a male partner) my heart breaks for her reading the vile hatred on here. These sad people who make it their number one priority to victimise trans people have probably never even encountered one in their lives really need to get a life. I notice they don’t seem to have the same hatred of trans men.

I’d say the main issue is the right to not face discrimination for simply existing! Unfortunately trans people experience discrimination, violence and of course death at disproportionate rates.

Childcare/ education should be free for all, from birth. Government subsidized.

I respectfully disagree that a biological male can become a woman (and vice versa). I don’t hate trans people. I’m sorry if you experience hatred, and you are right to call it out when you experience it. But you are wrong to assume that disagreement = hate.

The school system does not work for the majority of children.

No government or ruling can mend this country.

Looks do matter.

Cheating is one of the worst things a human can do to another.

Social media has ruined the world.

People cannot change.

No men in women only spaces or sport.

This is a wilful misinterpretation.

No one hates your child but your child is male no matter what steps they have taken to 'transition'. Your child has been sold a lie if they have been told that this makes them a woman.

It's not hatred to say that.

But asking women to make ourselves unsafe or some women to exclude from certain single sex spaces because of your child's identity issues is unreasonable.

I hope your child can get the mental health support to live a happy and fulfilled life.

Good decision. If you consider children to be baggage then it's best you leave them to someone more worthy of their love, trust and affection

Biological sex is binary and immutable. No amount of surgery and hormones can change a person of one biological sex into a person of the opposite biological sex.

That no one in the Western World lives in a true meritocracy, and our lives are bound by systematic bias, prejudice and discrimination in everything we do and this still requires significant pro-active intervention.
