What would your death row meal be?

Only 1 option, 3 courses if you wish.

What are you having? I'll go first..

Starters: prawn cocktail with iceberg lettuce and avocado (basic I know but I love it)
Mains: rare-medium rare beef wellington either triple fried chips, mayo for the chips, pan fried asparagus and long stem broccoli, with a red wine gravy.
Desert: old school butterscotch tart, Cornish clotted cream.
Then a bix of Jaffa cakes or two.

Washed down with a litre of disaronno and cranberry to help me on my way.

I don’t think I’d be able to eat it!

But I’ll have some warm fresh bread with plant butter and a bottle of clos apalta.

I'd have an Indian shipped in from my favourite restaurant.

I'd have poppadums and the pickle tray as a starter, but I'd get them to leave the pickles around for the whole meal.

Then prawn vindaloo with chapatis and an enormous garlic naan, with spinach pakora on the side.

Pudding would be a chocolate ice-cream sundae with lots of whipped cream.

I'd wash it down with lots of Guinness Original and finish with a French coffee.

I'm coeliac so
soup with lots of proper bread
a big chicken pie and chips
a large cream, chocolate cake

all with proper flour.

Starter would be an antipasti platter, meats, olives, garlic bread etc.
main would be a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Pudding a tiramisu.
For drinks I think I'd have a crisp cold can of Diet Coke and maybe a glass of champagne.

I'm amazed at the amount of coke people are choosing!

Starters: French onion soup
Main: fondue with a brilliant a array of dipping stuff
Pudding: profiteroles with dark chocolate and a salted caramel sauce on the side
I've had a really good red when I'm eating followed by a espresso martini.

I doubt the death penalty is racially motivated in every country, it exists outside of the USA don’t you know? Also this is clearly a hypothetical question, some people clearly lack imagination…

Anyway mine would be champagne, homemade pizza and then Polish Princess Cake. And more champagne.

Tapas starter - jamon croqueta, padron peppers, maybe some morcilla with a bone dry fino

The steak, garlic fries and Parmesan asparagus dinner from Camelot steakhouse in Vegas with half a bottle of barolo

Chocolate mousse Portuguese style with coffee or a really good blue cheese with spiced figs and port and a night nurse chaser.

Starter - A lovely coarse ham hock terrine with crusty bread and butter
Main - a medium rare wagyu fillet steak, dolphin nose potatoes and a luxury coleslaw
Pudding - Angel Delight (the 70s version).

I know dolphin nose potatoes is a typo but I love it.

Have to say I'm surprised how much anti death penalty sentiment there is given MN is usually quite pro extreme punishment and government sanctions for even the most minor infractions (I may be slightly over generalising but ive seen a lot of this over the years!)

My meal would be quite simple I think

Starter would be a really garlicky garlic bread.

Main would be an amazing steak and chips (either from a Argentine restaurant in London we go to on special occasions or a restaurant in F'ventura circa 2005)

Dessert would be lemon meringue pie or my own cupcakes

Big question would be would I opt for a glass bottle of rioja (I am 2 years alcohol free and never want to consume alcohol again) or stick to water. Water is genuinely my favourite drink.

I'd have a pot of tea as well somewhere in there. And chocolate hobnobs.

My all time favourite, but it's time consuming to make so a rare treat when my mum makes it.

I can’t imagine the disappointment when the meal isn’t what you imagined - you’re imagining your mum’s chicken curry and you get a jar sauce dumped on overcooked chicken and wet rice, served on a plastic tray.

Cinnamon sugar filled sweet potato??? I need to try this! I've never heard of it and I love both things!

How someone can get offended by a hypothetical question is beyond me.. they probably get offended when a man holds the door for them.
