Only 1 option, 3 courses if you wish.

What are you having? I'll go first..

Starters: prawn cocktail with iceberg lettuce and avocado (basic I know but I love it)
Mains: rare-medium rare beef wellington either triple fried chips, mayo for the chips, pan fried asparagus and long stem broccoli, with a red wine gravy.
Desert: old school butterscotch tart, Cornish clotted cream.
Then a bix of Jaffa cakes or two.

Washed down with a litre of disaronno and cranberry to help me on my way.

What's yours?

Bacon, egg, chips slice white buttered chunky bread.
Apple crumble with custard.

FuckYouEzekiel · 02/12/2023 15:05

Veggie fajitas. No meat or dairy, why drag an innocent animal down with me?

TravellingT · 02/12/2023 15:10

SpottyCrumpet · 02/12/2023 15:10

Pie, mash, tenderstem broccoli and gravy, followed by chocolate fudge cake and vanilla ice cream, and a Coke Zero.

muddyford · 02/12/2023 15:12

A large glass of Lagavulin Islay malt whisky.
Asparagus, melted butter and sea salt.
Roast lamb, dauphinoise potatoes, runner beans, carrots, cauliflower and leeks in white sauce, mint sauce and gravy.
Christmas pudding and white custard made with cornflour.
Bendicks bitter mints.
Large pot of tea.

So many lovely menus here. If I was on death row I know I couldn’t eat anything, and I absolutely do not support the death sentence or the barbaric wait some people suffer.

having said that:

Spanish jamòn croquetas, Rotisserie chicken and lovely crunchy salad with new potatoes smothered in butter, white Rioja, New York cheesecake.

onawave · 02/12/2023 15:18

Mushroom and truffle risotto
Duck breast, dauphinois potatoes, asparagus and baby broccoli cooked in garlic
Chocolate fondant with loads of double cream.
And a bottle of red to wash it all down.

Dontcallmescarface · 02/12/2023 15:20

Prawn toast dipped in sweet chilli sauce
Mushroom stroganoff with a side order of garlic bread
Black Forest trifle, just like my mum would make for Christmas dinner.
All washed down with fizzy rhubarb (my favourite non-alcoholic drink).

DurhamDurham · 02/12/2023 15:22

I'd ask for a Miller and Carter steak with all the trimmings and then some pistachio macarons:?

LauderSyme · 02/12/2023 16:08

@DysonArseWrap I'm borrowing "having said that" with thanks to @EveryKneeShallBow 🙂

Calamari with Aioli and Lemon

Roast lamb with Potato Dauphinoise, Petits Pois and Artichoke Hearts

Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée with White Chocolate

But I'd probably get executed in Texas where special death row meals were banned in 2011.

radioactivegreen · 02/12/2023 16:17

Spag bol and loads of garlic bread 😛garlic normally gives me awful heartburn and acid lasting for days so I can never eat too much, but if I knew I was going to die then I'd fill my boots!

I would have to have meat. Nice juicy steak.

maddiemookins16mum · 02/12/2023 16:39

Starter - A lovely coarse ham hock terrine with crusty bread and butter
Main - a medium rare wagyu fillet steak, dolphin nose potatoes and a luxury coleslaw
Pudding - Angel Delight (the 70s version).

lljkk · 02/12/2023 16:42

Don't think I could eat, actually.
Maybe a cuppa & a jar of nuttella.

SuspiciousSue · 02/12/2023 16:44

LauderSyme · 02/12/2023 14:05

I know I am being uptight but your question is terribly tasteless (no pun intended).

You could have asked about an ideal menu without bringing racially discriminatory, state-sanctioned murder into it.

🥱 There’s actually a higher percentage of white people on death row in America than ethnic minorities.

FWIW, I’m fervently against the death penalty no matter what the crime is. It doesn’t matter if they only execute one innocent person in 100 years, that’s too many.

autienotnaughty · 02/12/2023 16:46

Nachos with real cheese, salsa, guacamole and sour cream.

Medium rare steak, chip pan chips, peas, breaded mushrooms, onion rings and a pepper corn sauce

Vanilla ice cream with salted peanuts, sauce and sprinkles

A root beer

And a little snack of my mums cheese scones, fresh out the oven and buttered.

mondaytosunday · 02/12/2023 16:48

Toss up between my mothers chicken curry and her Christmas dinner, with her mushroom soup to start. Bith followed by Ministry Miracle dessert (kind of like a tiramasu but with crushed amaretto biscuits)

JamSandle · 02/12/2023 16:48

Starter: KFC

Main course: Pizza Express

Dessert: A huge chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream

To drink: Coke

autienotnaughty · 02/12/2023 16:49

Also some diazepam, morphine or heroin to see me off

TomPinch · 02/12/2023 16:52

Liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti.

JamSandle · 02/12/2023 16:52

Nice touch!

SpringingJoy · 02/12/2023 16:53

Starter - Garlic mushrooms

Main - Belly pork, dauphinois potatoes and roasted asparagus

Dessert - a huge bowl half full of chocolate gateau and half of strawberry trifle.

DisforDarkChocolate · 02/12/2023 16:55

Something with belly pork but a small portion.

Sunday dinner with roast beef.

Black forest trifle.

autienotnaughty · 02/12/2023 16:58

@JamSandle well I've had two of the three before and they were both fantastic

OhHowTheDogsStackUp · 02/12/2023 17:02

I'd want escargot in garlic shipped in from the old port in Marseille for my starter.

Main would be a selection of mini curries, which I'd want made by this restaurant I went to in Las Vegas in 2010. If they need a time machine, so be it.

For dessert, a balsamic vinegar and strawberry dish from Cassis, which is the nicest dessert I've ever had in my life.

Then as many French martinis as I could get down my beak with a diazepam chaser.
