Anyone else been whammed? We didn't even make it to the end of the first morning of the first day of December!

Ds and I were sitting in the waiting room (we had just arrived for his appointment) and he pointed out that Wham! were on the radio with Last Christmas. I wasn't even meant to be taking him to the dentist but dh wasn't well. Looks like it must've just been my time 😭

Please tell me I'm not alone!

I'm out. Walked into my local Korean supermarket to pick up some stuff to cook Chinese fondue tonight for friends, and it was playing. Of all places, I would not have expected it there. And it was the original version - not some weird K-pop version either.

I’m still in, and I went out out last night.

Still in - survived a Christmas meal in a restaurant (playing 50s/60s stuff) Sainsburys and a few random shops today.

That's me out, ten minutes into turning over to one of those non-stop Christmas music channels. Asking for it, really.

5 minute warning on Absolute 80s - muted but will have to make sure I don't unmute too early.

DH and I both out on Thursday. We were having a drink in a bar before a show and on it came.

I'm out! It wasn't even the full song, it was part of a radio competition "What's the missing word?" 😫😆Prick!

The only person still in in our house is dh. Dc 1 was it with me at the dentist on day one and dc 2 was out on the school bus on their way to swimming.

Beat last year by 11 days so pretty chuffed really.

Yep. I have been in the car with the radio on every day and still haven't heard a bar of it.

No chance now as I'm in charge of the music from here on in.

I didn't last more than an hour for Maria-gate though 😁

I got Whammed when I left Costa's a few days ago. Some bloke was walking down the high street with his portable stereo on his shoulder. No prizes for guessing what he was playing.
