Anyone else been whammed? We didn't even make it to the end of the first morning of the first day of December!

Ds and I were sitting in the waiting room (we had just arrived for his appointment) and he pointed out that Wham! were on the radio with Last Christmas. I wasn't even meant to be taking him to the dentist but dh wasn't well. Looks like it must've just been my time 😭

Please tell me I'm not alone!

Got Whammed in Sainsburys tonight. I couldn't flipping believe it. Got to 21st last year.

I don't know whether it's more disappointing to be out straight away or to get almost to the end.

Just don't even go there. Bloody works Xmas party and whammed as soon as I got through the door.

I got out of bed at 7.45 and I was out of the game by 8.20 - heard it blasting from a passing car while I was walking the dogs!

Still safe... but don't hold out much hope this year as have started a new business and am taking my stock to several Christmas fairs and events over next few weeks... amazed to have avoided it at first one tonight tbh!

Asked Alexa to play Christmas music, as I peeled tatties for dinner, and I only made it 3 songs in.

I usually only listen to absolute radio or Spotify and they give you a warning a few minutes before they play it. DC 2 said they were playing it on the radio on the coach on their way to swimming this aft but it was a cover version so it didn't matter!

School panto yesterday afternoon so I made it 13 1/2 hours this year!

Last year, I got quite far into December.

Internet shopping and no Christmas parties helped 🤣

Amazingly survived a day at a Christmas Festival!

I have a team member who swears he's never heard and therefore wins every year. I just don't believe him.

I made sure I have removed it this year before cranking up the Christmas tunes this year.

I crashed and burned yesterday, despite being in a mainly Buddhist Asian country for the whole of December. Apparently there's no escape from the dreaded Christmas tunes shopping centre playlist even here!
