What do you think her life would have been like? Would she have remarried someone extremely wealthy? Would she be seen as the English Rose she was made out to be despite being pretty much hated just before her death? Would Charles have married Camilla? Would Harry have married Meghan? Would she and William be close or would he be embarrassed by her public romances?

All speculation of course! :-)

It’s interesting that on that sun picture there is also a Fergie quote at bottom but she’s now lives completely out of media despite Andrew’s antics, wonder if Diana would have been the same once it went to next generation?

I think some of what we are remembering is the spin the media put on the whole thing at the time, fuelled by PR teams.
You can’t rely on the truth from the media.

It would have been interesting to see how certain things would have played out.

For example, the press have a bit of a thing atm about 'hangers on' living in palaces/royal properties.

Would she have stayed at Kensington Palace? Would the press now be commenting on it similarly to the air of "sponger" that they do when they say about Sarah Ferguson still lives at Royal Lodge?

If she’d survived would she have taken her police protection back? That would have then been interesting in 2011 when it was removed from non-working royals and even from non working times for some working royals.

I definitely think the press would have done a play off with her and Camilla.

She was starting to get bad press. Posing in swimsuits. Frolicking with unsuitable men. Multiple holidays.

That would have been pitched against quiet Camilla just plodding on dutifully in the background seeking no attention.

Of course it would have swung back at some point. Like the way they always pitched Diana and Fergie, and Kate and Meghan.

She seemed much happier after her divorce. I can see her having many flings with eligible men and having a whale of a time.

I think she would have got on with Catherine but not sure about Meghan. I would have said at first they would get on like a house on fire, they seemed to both be very free spirited and neither were used to royalty nor fitting in with the Windsors, but I think she would have hated the more recent feuding and how William and Harry have become so divided.

I think she would have grown up tobe bitter woman causing scandals all over the show , and probably being a massive embarrassment to her sons

I think her sons would have grown frustrated with her. Especially William. I think it's quit possible he would still have married Kate or someone like her. Initially Diana would have hated her and been ax difficult as possible. But with time she'd come to respect her ( if only to see her grandchildren).

Harry would have not married Meghan. He'd have a laid back life in Africa with Chelsey. Someone worth giving up his titles for. I hope he still might!

It would have been a nightmare for Camilla and Charles.I think she would have ended it eventually (remaining close companions- Charles would be single.

Diana would go from man to man. She'd li e in LA. Could see her eventually with some sort of political figure. She'd need someone very rich.

In this scenario, Diana may well have met Meghan, just not through Harry. Interesting!

I like to think she would have met someone who adored her and found peace. She would still be beautiful though not youthful. She would have lived out her life doing charity works and enjoying her family (especially grandchildren). I don't like the assumption she would have been a difficult MIL- MN do love to vilify them!

I don't think she was hated before her death, if the office I worked in was anything to go by. Other than by the gutter press, as we all know.
