What's in your fruit bowl?

Right now?

Mine contains 5 apples, including 4 Granny Smiths deemed 'too sour' to eat , two stray nerf bullets and Ds1's headphones.

The shopping will arrive tomorrow and the detritus will be evacuated to make room for, you know, actual fruit that will be eaten.

A sweet potato, an enormous Bramley apple, a conference pear, a persimmon, 3 bananas, a pen, a block of post it notes, a packet of dextrose tablets, a tube of effervescent vitamin C tablets, and a packet of paracetamol. Other fruit in the fridge.

A single sad little apple. 😢

Apples, a banana and some mandarins. Will only have soft fruit such as raspberries when in season in the UK.

Pomegranates and limes (for tacos!)

Some bananas, I've had fruit flies all bloody summer so my fruit was kept in the fridge. Thought I'd try and put some out, fingers crossed the flies don't come back.

Oh and some earrings and a set of fairy lights.

In the actual fruit bowl - a pumpkin. This year I will do something with it - possibly pumpkin pickle. In the cupboard are cooking and eating apples, and in the fridge there are grapes.

A pack of fruitellas, 2 bags of haribo, some drumstick lollies, a bag of hula hoops, a bag of rowntrees fruit gums and inexplicably DH's headphones.

At least two of them contain the word fruit.

No idea, it’s in the loft somewhere…probably.

Onions

Six apples and five oranges. There’s a new carton of grapes in the fridge and half a carton of blueberries and another of raspberries. The freezer has quantities of frozen fruit. My favourite breakfast is a combination of fruit, with yogurt, honey and flaked almonds.

3 Bramleys, 2 coxes pippins, 2 easy peelers, 4 bananas, 3 lemons.

5 Braeburns, one satsuma and two pears. And an empty envelope. DH leaves the bloody things everywhere!

5 or 6 apples, a couple of oranges, quite a few satsumas and 3 persimmons (soon to be 2 as this thread has made me peckish).

I put a homemade flower arrangement into my fruit bowl. 😂

I've got some lemons, oranges and apples in the one in the kitchen though.

A ballpoint pen and a whiteboard marker. There are a few slightly spotty bananas on the banana hook.

3 pink lady apples, 3 lemons, 3 limes, 4 satsumas, a cat's collar and a small pink dinosaur beanie baby (the guardian of the fruit bowl).

Three apples, a whole pack of easy peelers (they've been there for a week; I was obviously feeling optimistic when I bought them), two avocados and a selection of tomatoes.
