What's in your fruit bowl?

Mine contains 5 apples, including 4 Granny Smiths deemed 'too sour' to eat , two stray nerf bullets and Ds1's headphones.

The shopping will arrive tomorrow and the detritus will be evacuated to make room for, you know, actual fruit that will be eaten.

Loads, I’ve overbought as usual, not an actual bowl but in the fridge - blueberries, raspberries, pears, two sorts of apples, plums, figs, satsumas, oranges, lemons, limes, red grapes, bananas on top of the bread bin. We do eat a lot of fruit but I did buy too many apples and oranges this week.

My fruitbowl is in the kitchen which I think helps stop stray toys and pens ending up in it. The living room table is where all the paper/toys/stray pencils end up instead.

@mumda I have some leftover crumble topping in the freezer and some double cream lurking in the fridge...

A load of apples no one will eat as the 2 apple eaters are now low fodmap.Several satsumas which will get eaten and 3 oranges.All other fruit is in the fridge.

It's not really a bowl, it's an old ceramic jelly mould shaped like a fish, and it's got a banana that's feeling sorry for itself and two oranges, a bag of onions and some hair pins.

I'm kina jealous of everyone's brown bananas, banana loaf here we come.

Two lemons, one and a half heads of garlic, a sheet of calcium tablets and half a bag of MSG in the kitchen fruit bowl.

I think there's the last few apples from the tree in the dining room bowl. Plus heaps of quince and medlar in the conservatory.

Bananas, apples, kiwis, nardicots, lemons, and the 2 fur squirrels which started living there in lockdown.

4 limes, 5 tomatoes and a few grapes along with a golf ball (no idea why because we don’t play golf), the torch charger and two butter mints 🤷🏼‍♀️

Our shop just arrived so there are bananas, satsumas, apples, grapes and blueberries.

One bowl has 4 oranges and lots of satsumas . The apple bowl has galas , candines and pink lady’s .

3 russet apples (at their best), 4 satsumas (ok, but heading for fermented taste), 3 figs (just going over, so will pop them in the oven to roast for pud) and a lemon... there was also a nub of ginger that looked well past it... like a wrinkled toe...., put it in the food waste
