What's in your fruit bowl?

Right now?

Mine contains 5 apples, including 4 Granny Smiths deemed 'too sour' to eat , two stray nerf bullets and Ds1's headphones.

The shopping will arrive tomorrow and the detritus will be evacuated to make room for, you know, actual fruit that will be eaten.

Is yours more interesting?

Just bananas at the moment but usually always has bananas, oranges and pears or apples.

Mine contains a notebook and a book

2 grapefruits, net of mandarins, green & red grapes.

A satsuma and a coconut.

Shopping came this morning so 8 bananas, 8 apples, 6 kiwis, and 6 oranges. It'll last about 2 days. There are also grapes and blueberries in the fridge.

The bowl is empty. But in the fridge there are strawberries, grapes and kiwis.

We have an apple orchard and there’s absolutely tons of the buggers on the trees still so if we want an apple we just pick one. We have 5 varieties to choose from. Typically DD prefers pears 🙄

3 oranges, 6 bananas, 7 clementines, a random IKEA freezer bag, 2 garlic cloves (🤷) and 3 socks!!🤦

6 Pink Lady apples, a bunch of bananas (rather brown ☹️) 3 persimmons, another bowl with clementines and raspberries and blueberries in the fridge.

Why do so many of you have things which are not fruit in your fruit bowl?

Surely they should be elsewhere?

Only one banana which I’m a bit a pissed off about as there was a big bunch in there last night and I had a thought to make a big tray of choc banana bread earlier on thinking there were plenty. Grr!

Two massive pears, 6 apples, two oranges, 3 lemons, and two persimmons. We have two fruit bowls which need to be replenished every 2/3 days.

Because nearly all my fruit is in the fridge. Yes I know things should be elsewhere but a spare bowl is bound to get odd things chucked in it. Are you Little Miss Perfect?

Three red apples, three green apples and five easy peelers. Grapes in the fridge. Looks quite artistic, pisses me off when DH eats some and doesn't rearrange them nicely. I don't say anything because I know this makes me a massive wanker.

Apples from the apple tree in the garden I've picked before the next storm or squirrels take them. Daughter got wobbly front teeth and son got braces so they won't be eaten until I've made them into another apple crumble...

6 lovely braeburns,bunch of bananas. Yes,in the lovely glass fruit bowl on the coffee table. Who puts an onion in with the fruit!!! There's a bowl on the sideboard for keys and bits of crap. Grapes etc in fridge, out of the puppies way.

2 parts of a monkey's head that I've knitted, and 2 knitted squares for a baby blanket.
