How old were you parents when they had you?

And how old were you when you had children? Just interested if things have changed much over the generations. My mum had me at 21 and my brother at 22. My dad was 28 when I was born. I was 35 when my DS was born.

My mother was 19 when she had me. I was 46 when I had my one and only baby!

26 & 41.

I was 21.

My parents were 27, I was their first child after being married 5 years. I was 27 and 30 having my two. I was married 8 years when I had my first baby - from choice. My daughters are now 36 and 33, neither have had children.

My mum had turned 20 in the month before having me and I turned 30 in the month before having my DD

My mum was 21 when she had me and I was 21 when I had my first. My mum was 28 when she had her second but I was 24.

I had my first at 18

25 & 27. I am early 30s and have no children!

My parents were 31 (mum) and 29 (Dad) when I was born in 1979. I was 24 when I had my eldest in 2004.

My mum was 37 when she had me in the 60's. Very unusual for her generation. I had DS1 at 36. By then this was pretty common.

They were 22 and 24 when they had me (first child) I was 17 when I had my first

My nan was 22, mum was 24 and I was 23 when we all had our first babies.

My mother was 28 and my father was 26. I don’t have children.

30 and 31.

I am 31 and single so won’t be producing grandchildren for them anytime soon!

Same goes for most of my friends.

My mum was 21 when she had my sibling and 27 when she had me. I had my first at 25 and second at 27.

They were 35 and 38

I was 32 having my first, 36 having my next

Both my mother and I had fertility issues

My mum was 19 my dad was I think 23 I was 25 when I had my son

My parents were 29 when they had me. They would have started their family a few years earlier, but DM had fertility issues. My DSis was born when they were 36 and 37.

I had my only child at 36.

My mam was 30 when she had me and my twin. Her first born she was 17. I had my son at 32

30 (DM) and 28/29. I’m 52 no DC.

My Mum was 23 when she had me and 28 when she had her 3rd.

coincidentally I was also 23 for First and 28 for third.

My parents were in their mid 30s when they had me. They started their family in their early 20s but I was their 4th child and "unexpected". My younger sibling was too 🤦🏻‍♀️

Most of my previous generations had huge families and kept having kids from early 20s to late 30s - growing up in a family of 5 was bad enough, my dad was one of 9 kids! 😱

I was mid 30s when I had my one dc. Would have liked another but it wasn't to be.

Mum 27 and dad 35. Husband and me were 30&31 then 36&37. We didn't plan on a 6 year age gap, we tried for baby number 2 from ages 32&33 but it was a case of better late than never.
