How old were you parents when they had you?

And how old were you when you had children? Just interested if things have changed much over the generations. My mum had me at 21 and my brother at 22. My dad was 28 when I was born. I was 35 when my DS was born.

DM was 22 almost 23 DF was 31. I was 34 when I had DS , DH was just 35

My parents married at 21 and 24 but didn't have me until they were 30 and 33. I'm the oldest. They wanted to do career improvements and travelling first, quite a rarity in the 80s I think!

My mum's parents were 29 and 34 when they had their oldest child in the 1950s, another oddity.

My dad was 34, my mum was 30. I was their second child.

I had my first at 36 and my second at 38 (DH was 37 and 40).

My parents were 28&29 when they had me and I have 1 brother who is 3.5 years older than me.

Mum was 42 Dad was 47. My grandmother was 46 when she had my aunt!

I was an unplanned pregnancy- my parents weren’t even married or living together. Still a bit racey for the early 80’s! My DM says she never really thought about having a baby. She was 37 and DF was 40. That was very old for then, my parents were always 10 years older than my friend’s parents. I hated it so I deliberately had my DC in my 20’s (26&29) but now things have changed and I’m 10 years younger than my children’s friends parents!

My mum was 28 (she had my siblings at 25 and 30). I was 31 with my first. Hoping for a second at 33/34...

Mum was 37 when she had me, 41 when she had DSis. Dad was 30 and 33.

google says 35 and older was geriatric, now advanced maternal age

My mum was 38 and dad 41 when I arrived (51 years ago)

My parents were 25 and 29. I was 38. Got sick of being single and not having a child so found my own way of doing it. I wanted a 2nd child but covid happened and the clinics closed and I ended up having to prioritise my finances over paying the clinic to help me have another.

Mum had me when she was 22 and then had my siblings at 25 and 27.

Dad was 26 for me and 29 and 32 with siblings.
