Jacket Potato Fillings

Tonight’s fillings are leftover chilli, and cheese and beans for the little ones.

What are your favourite fillings?
I love cold fillings of coronation chicken, prawn in a Marie Rose sauce and tuna mayo with red onion.

Must haves are butter, and a crisp salad.

Just cheese is fine by me. The cafe near work finely grates it and it’s wonderful.

I absolutely love egg mayo too.

Oooo finely grated cheese. That jacket spud fine dining right there 😋

Call me boring but I’m going for round two tonight 🥔
We’ve got some frozen prawns in the freezer so will mix up some Marie Rose sauce for it.
Might also top it off with an avocado which needs to be eaten and some bacon.
Am hungry already!

Also finely grated cheese on a cheese sandwich is a game changer it's delicious, better than those "big grates" I'm not sure why ?

Pleased to report I have scoffed a jacket potato with finely grated cheese this very lunchtime.

We never have any mice left over though.

My all time favourite has to be the cheese, pineapple and onion filling that I g pushed to get when I was a student from spud-u-like. It was amazing…I should try and recreate it - think everything was finely chopped.

I am a bit of a purist - cheese and beans.

I don't mind tuna but prefer hot fillings.

@Sunshineandrainbow the recipe didn't attach last time so here you go!

I prefer them with just butter, sour cream and bacon.

But a side of nice mushrooms sauteed in butter is excellent with baked potato, or on it. Lots of pepper and a dash of worcestershire. Very "meaty."

Jacket potatoes make me fall asleep about 20 minutes post prandial.
That being said, sour cream and chives was my favourite filling before I realised the narcolepsy link

Well me and Dd had baked potato for dinner was delicious.
