If the salary didn’t matter and you could do any job, what would it be?

Just asking because I was thinking I’d probably work with children in some capacity but maybe only two days a week and spend the rest of the time with my own DC. That would not be enough to keep me afloat financially though!

So curious… if money didn’t matter much, would job would you like to do?

Something backstage in a really good theatre. Maybe the RSC.

Costume designer, or in fact just sewing someone else's designs for fantasy films. I'd love to spend a week handcrafting one beautiful thing.

Surprised to see a few people say they'd work in a library. I've worked in several and think people may be romanticising it a bit. There are different roles in a library but if you're doing a customer facing one it will involve a lot of customer service, dealing with complaints and difficult situations - like retail jobs.

I'd love to be a zookeeper of some sort or perhaps in an aquarium.

Swimming teacher. Preferably pre-school and babies but I think I would enjoy teaching adults too.

Or running a board game cafe.

I think I would stay where I am. Reception in Mental Health Unit. Pretty stress free most of the time but it can kick off!

Or perhaps working in an animal shelter.

I have a demanding professional job but I also play in a gigging pub band.

If I could sack of the full time job, I'd love to spend Friday and Saturday nights gigging and spend the rest of my time practising, learning new stuff and drinking tea in my garden.

That would be perfect!

My current job, probably, but in a more senior role (since I'd be funding it).
