Recommend me your favourite things!

In the freezer section. Boxes of 4 individual potato gratin “cakes”.

I got a lovely caramel apple pudding from the chilled section this week, it was delicious!

Pain au chocolat 🤤

The Christmas chocolate covered gingerbread things.

The soups in the fridge are nice especially the chicken and rice one

Oh and the cheese in the blue bag is delish

An inflatable kayak from the middle - seems they are quite the investment with all the flooding!

The big tubs of Greek Yoghurt.

West Country butter, both block and spreadable. The vintage West Country cheddar. Baking camemberts The ‘milbona’ boxed ones pack of four, miscellar water, dupes of fever tree tonic cans x 8, all butter Scottish shortbread fingers, deluxe range cakes (vic sponge, carrot cake) boxed. Chocolate, Greek yogurts, flavoured olive oil. Wines, big selection. Own brand cat ‘dreamies’ Kalamata olives in a jar……pretty much everything in there is good

Ooh stollen bites if they are out yet.
If its Spanish week, the big jars of chickpeas. They are the best chickpeas.
Dd loves the skinny polish meat sticks- like a non spicy peperami

Also the high fruit preserves, and the muesli and granola

Well, I had to give up a lots of treats, sweets and ready-made food, sadly (like the above gratins!). So my list would be a bit boring but just in case it helps:

Ground linseed with fruit (purple packet)
5% Greek yoghurt
The nuts are generally amazing e.g. walnuts, pistachios, brazil
90% chocolate JD Gross
Date and cashew bars, chocolate orange flavour
The halloumi is excellent, feta less so for some reason
A bunch of random stuff from the middle aisle!

Pre-giving up treats:

A sneaky all-butter pain au chocolat from the bakery section 😭
The packs of mini chocolate bars:milk chocolate with hazelnut
Vegetable chips to eat with hummus

The higgidy pie dupes are amazing esp the cauliflower cheese one

@waistchallenge ooh yes forgot the pain au raisins and plain HUGE croissants on bakery

And the 100% nuts and nothing else peanut butter

200g bar of milk chocolate with whole almonds.

I do my weekly shop there so the app would probably say my favourite things are very basic and boring. Loo roll… cheese… fruit… milk…

My current favourite is probably their lemon cheesecakes that come in a pack of three. But everything else is good too.

Sometimes I think these threads are market research in disguise. If so, I want to say Lidl needs to up their scone game. Ideally fresh cheese scones in the bakery but packet will do, too 🙂

Oh if that’s the case, I’d like them to do tinned cream of mushroom soup please.

I'd like them to stock the horseradish version of their Crefee whipped soft cheese. I have to smuggle it back from Bulgaria!

Oh, and shelled, salted and roasted pistachios.

If they have the baby potato salad with barbers crunch cheddar, but it’s a rare find these days, the potato dauphinoise and cauliflower cheese
actually as a PP said pretty much everything but the baked beans are horrible and really hard .
most everything in the black packaging ‘deluxe’ range is good

Their croque monseuirs are amazing!

The bakery items are lovely. I particularly like their sour dough loaf and the goats cheese pizza bread slices.
