Do we actually know who bombed the hospital in Gaza yet?

I keep seeing mixed reports. It’s really unsettling not to know.

But we can look at the evidence presented and make an estimate.

where were you when the other party killed Thais and Nepalese workers who had nothing to do with this conflict? or do their lives not matter because you can't see them on social media ?

It's good for clicks and I agree with the sentiment, however, 3300 people have been killed in Gaza, an awful number, however, therefore not killing everyone and therefore not a genocide.

I don't know why you think this to be honest. Tonight Israel have been merrily dropping bombs beside a hospital in Gaza. Earlier today they were merrily bombing beside a UN school in the south of Gaza where they told people to shelter. Almost 3,500 people are confirmed dead with god knows how many buried in the rubble. 70% of those dead are women and children. The people of Gaza have eyes and ears. They can see what is happening all around them. They can see Israel bombarding them. The hospital sadly was a drop in the ocean of the damage that has been done. They are under no illusions about what Israel wants done to them.

Why aren't Hamas releasing hostages then? It would help the people of Gaza massively.

@Gruntsandgroans because in spite of being under the hammas dictator regime since 2006 as you say they are not stupid. Unfortunately they are killed or tortured if they speak out agaisnt hammas but I think truth over the hospital may give people that rave they need to cause revolution.

Why are Israel bombing where they told people to evacuate to? I don't expect you to answer that because you don't have a hot line to them I presume? We can all ask stupid questions, I'm just not sure what the point of it is?

Look, I actually sort of agree!

Admittedly: it is not much of a stretch of the imagination at all to me, personally, that the IDF would do this! I have personally seen them shoot at medics many times.

BUT: I am willing to concede that their claims around the type of ordonance used and the expected impact are ... at least not implausible enough to be dismissed outright (I am, for the record, giving zero credence to the audio - even I, personally, could have produced it, or something like it; the bit where they supposedly speak about what is where: any local would know! Gaza City is not exactly huge!).

But we are going to need an independent investigation into this! The IDF have lied too blatantly, too many times for anyone who is not already on their side to believe them - they are not a credible source, and neither is anyone spoon fed by them wirth their evidence!

IDF tells people to evacuate to Point A
People evacuate to Point A
Hamas move units to Point A and starts firing rockets
IDF Attacks Hamas.

I dont think the people I have seen have anything left in them for revolution. They have witnessed atrocities left right and centre. They have lost children, parents, friends, relatives. They have seen people reduced to mush, I actually saw a man holding his wife in the palm of his hand. Their homes are gone. They are struggling to find anything to eat or drink. They have no where safe to sleep. They are in fear for their lives all of the time, the bombing is near constant. Where do you think they would get the strength from to overthrow hamas? They are just normal people.

So what you are saying is that trying to scare 1.2million people into evacuating was always going to be for no reason at all. There was no point. They were always going to bomb them anyway. I don't understand why everyone was praising Israel for telling people to evacuate then?

I get why you think the IDF may lie but this attack would not benefit the IDF in any way.

That leaves us with believing Hamas and I'm sorry, I can't do that without proof. we obviously see both sides through different lenses but it will be a cold day in hell when I believe what they say without proof, they are the worst of humans (yes, I get that's what you feel about the IDF)

As it stands, I see zero evidence and fully believe in Hamas ability to use their own people for the worst of reasons.

Someone from the Israel government has said today that apart from getting rid of Hamas , they want to recover a part of Gaza. So if Israel knows that by moving the Palestinian people are going to become a target , why not leave them where they are ? Unless of course you want an empty land for yourself

No, what I'm saying is that Hamas are evil bastards and will purposely hinder the evacuation of their people and will intentionally make the area unsafe for them.

Hamas will literally hope that the IDF attacks and kills civilians it has set up as that promote the cause of Hamas and hinders the cause of the IDF.

But, genuinely, I DO think we have another option, specifically: "actually, we do not know and we shall have to wait for a 3rd party to investigate, thoroughly, and be open to have our pre-conceived notions overturned!"

I do not believe Hamas. But I do not believe the IDF either. Seen both lie one ... or a few ... times to many!

They didn't intercept anyone. The 'recordings' used the wrong terminology, syntax and accents. Chance of fabrication, extremely high.

Seems like 20 trucks have been allowed to go in with aid. Hopefully it’s true and more will follow

You and I both know there won't be a 3rd party investigation, there is no organisation that exists that won't be accused of bias, one way or the other.

Let me explain my lense:

Israel are surrounded by millions of people who hate them, truly and in those nations they don't care about equal rights for women, religious freedom for minorities, equality for LGBT people, actual slavery etc, etc, their human rights records are actually disgusting. The Jews have a historical right to be in the area, this is undeniable, to me, and whilst the individuals in the IDF have acted brutally in the past and eroded all the trust you had in them for them they stand for a just cause - the existence of a people.

Hamas on the other hand have sworn to kill every jew on the planet and are aided and abetted by the Arab nations i mentioned above. in fact, the Arab nations don't give a single fuck for the people of Palestine, it's truly disgusting. I know it's a trope but they hate the people of Israel more than the love the children of Gaza.

That's my lense, as mentioned it will be a cold day in hell when i take anything Hamas said as the truth, given the brutality of their nature
