Arguably pointless appeal to "best judgment" and "reason":

Actually, we do not currently know!

What we do know is that the IDF are putting forward claims - backed up by "may or may not be faked" - that are at least somewhat plausible. And that the very same IDF have a proven track record of lying their arses off in an attempt to blame someone else.

I, for one, am very much hoping that there will - eventually! after this current "acute" phase of the horror (but: it will very much still be going on, outside of the headlines) be an independent investigation by someone like the UN or ICRC - and I am prepared for them to conclude [not what I am assuming at present].

But we all need to stop making claims when we actually know fuck all (except: naturally, we all know who is right, and wrong, in general - because we are human and born omniscient!). Because all this is achieving is fanning the flames of already at boiling point tempers!

We need to de-escalate! We need a ceasefire! And if we fail, more people will die!

Hammas are not looking at evidence, Al jazzera doesn't have any experts on picking through it...

Are they the same ones that last night stated that the IDF definitely did do it and then back-tracked? At the moment there is zero evidence for that claim and plenty of evidence showing it was a blue on blue incident.

Democratic nations have to report the truth.. We are able to get rid of our government.

thanks, I'm happy someone said this. everything seems aimed at demonizing Israel instead of just their govt, like they haven't been bombing each other for the past 7 decades. they keep doing awful things to each other in turns.

I've watched 4 sources. They've presented the evidence available and in my opinion left it up to the viewer to make their mind up. To me, it's a massive stretch to say it was the IDF. You've seen the impact creator, right?
