Just for sat night chat, what job do you think holds the biggest kudos? I think probably a medical consultant or barrister... what do you think...

Wouldn’t impress anyone because you couldn’t tell them.

Anaesthetist. When I had an operation recently my lovely calm anaesthetist promised to look after me. And she did. Yes the surgeon did the skilled cutting but she was my advocate who took care of me.
I feel utterly indebted to her.

Namechangeforthisorfartooouting · 14/10/2023 23:47

ScottBakula · 14/10/2023 23:47

My old job title sounded very fancy, I was a facilities manager overseer and coordinator , in reality
I told our team of cleaners what site to go to and ordered the stock for each site.
Tbf it's hard work to start with, but after 6 months barrring any unexpected work / absences it was reasonably smooth running

Doyoulikedejavu · 14/10/2023 23:48

In the current climate, either a SENCO or a DSL in a school. Both incredibly difficult jobs with a mountain of daily responsibility and a nigh-on impossible workload.
