Have you seen "Ghosts"? BBC iPlayer, it's very clever and very funny.

MadeOfAllWork · 14/10/2023 19:25

If you have Netflix then Kim’s Convenience is wonderful and much overlooked.

Laurdo · 14/10/2023 19:26

Extras and Derek.

stickybear · 14/10/2023 19:26

Definitely Friday Night Dinner! Maybe Parks and Recreation?

WonderingWanda · 14/10/2023 19:26

Schitts Creek
Catastrophe

SisterMichaelsHabit · 14/10/2023 19:27

If you liked Motherland you will LOVE The Letdown. It's Australian and bloody brilliant.

SisterMichaelsHabit · 14/10/2023 19:30

Oh and if you liked Derry Girls, look for Deadly Cuts on Netflix. It's a film not a series but it's an Irish black comedy with a similarly motley cast of mostly-female characters set in a deprived suburb of Dublin and it's also brilliant. It takes the piss out of those dance movies where the prize is always mysteriously exactly what the protagonist needs to save her community (but it's not a dance movie), and it flips some major tropes on their head as well. 10/10 would recommend.

StevieKicks · 14/10/2023 19:30

Colin from Accounts.

MoonriseKingdom · 14/10/2023 19:31

Bad sisters - very dark but also very funny

Iwantitidontwantit · 14/10/2023 19:31

I second both This Country & Schitts Creek! Love them both

eggandonion · 14/10/2023 19:32

Mum...and possibly Colin from accounts which is a bit marmite. And kath and kim if you didn't watch it years ago.

cansu · 14/10/2023 19:34

Fisk on netflix is also great

43ontherocksporfavor · 14/10/2023 19:35

What’s the name of that show about sisters that were so different?

Britneyfan · 14/10/2023 19:36

Agree with Workin’ Moms on Netflix and Bad Sisters on Apple TV. You might enjoy Never have I ever on Netflix too. Also Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend which used to be on Netflix but I think are now on ITV X.

Britneyfan · 14/10/2023 19:36

Oh yeah totally agree with Catastrophe as well! And Maybe Shrinking on Apple TV.
