What popular tv shows could you not get into, despite really wanting to like?

Stranger things is just my sort of thing, yet despite how many times I tried to give it a go, I just could not get into it

Breaking Bad

I’ve got 3/4 of the way through the first season of The Wire twice. And no further. But it should be right up my street.

Killing Eve. I really tried, but it was terrible.

I watched the first series of Stranger Things but I couldn’t get into the rest. I didn’t like Killing Eve either.

Game of Thrones. Or 'tits and dragons' as Ian McShane called it. Can't get excited about fictional kingdoms I think.

Oh Killing Eve. I watched series one…and it was so meh I gave up

Tried both and found them very dull

Am persevering with Breaking Bad but not loving it.

Motherland. It was so unfunny, and all the characters were annoying.

This is Us. I honestly found it so dull.

Orange is the New Black. Couldn't get past the first few episodes. Sons of Anarchy too.

I remember getting really excited for Lost.
It was promoted as a cross between Friends and a castaway, shipwrecked type situation - both of which I love.
Twas rubbish.

Any soap, though I was brought up watching Coronation Street, when it was good !
Now, I just hear mindless drivel.

Succession for me too.
Everyone was on about the characters being complex but they seemed pretty “made forTV” to me. I liked the music!

Yellowstone. Really annoying cos there’s loads of it and it could me going for ages if I could just enjoy it. I love westerns/cowboy/Native American stuff too.

And I worked with Kelly Reillys mum for years and like telling DH as we are watching thing with her in, which is another blow.

Another vote for succession. It wasn't I disliked it, can't really put my finger on it. Didn't keep my attention and found I just wasn't bothered about watching another episode.

Another vote for Game of Thrones. Anything which features dragons isn’t really my cup of tea. I’m reliably informed that the tits aspect was good, though.
