Stranger things is just my sort of thing, yet despite how many times I tried to give it a go, I just could not get into it

Yellowstone. Really annoying cos there’s loads of it and it could me going for ages if I could just enjoy it. I love westerns/cowboy/Native American stuff too.

Me too. I really wanted to like it but everyone is so nasty!

And Schitts Creek.

The Walking Dead

Fear of the Walking Dead

CathyorClaire · 14/10/2023 11:11

Watched the first series of 'Stranger Things' and thought it was toss so never bothered with the rest.

Sex and the City - although I liked the films

Have never watched 'Friends' all the way through but it's on my bucket list.

Second 'The Walking Dead' and I usually love a zombieorama. I think it's the sheer number of very samey looking episodes.

Game of Thrones
Stranger Things
The 100

All of these.

Plus Dexter.

Onionooo · 14/10/2023 11:15

Peaky Blinders
Son’s of Anarchy
The Fall.

kardashianklone · 14/10/2023 11:16

Gossip Girl. Just a load of over privileged white people being narcissistic and terrible to each other.

CornishGem1975 · 14/10/2023 11:17

This is Us
Normal People
The Walking Dead
Lost

All slow and dull.

Happy Valley because I can't stand Sarah Lancashire.
Downton Abbey just wasn't interesting enough.

Succession

Same! I just can't get into it. Can anyone say what is so great about it? I really need a new series to get into.

Almahart · 14/10/2023 11:19

Colin from Accounts, I found this so unfunny
Killing Eve, dull
Better Call Saul, unconvincing

I loved Yellowstone but the first series is a bit hard going. It gets way better imo.

moggerhanger · 14/10/2023 11:21

The Sandman. Ticked every box but...pff.

WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps · 14/10/2023 11:21

Downton Abbey.

Tried to watch it quite a few times. It just leaves me cold. I don't get the hype.

usedtobeasizeten · 14/10/2023 11:21

Line of Duty
Fleabag

molotovcupcakes · 14/10/2023 11:27

I thought All about Eve was too hammy, it was adapted and produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge disappointing as I loved Fleabag which wrote and starred in.

Dontcallmescarface · 14/10/2023 11:27

If I'm honest...all of them.

JamSandle · 14/10/2023 11:29

Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

MardyBra · 14/10/2023 11:29

Miranda. Just not funny

Vates · 14/10/2023 11:33

Mindhunter, Breaking Bad and Fear the walking dead (I loved the first 6 seasons of the walking dead!).

Sgtmajormummy · 14/10/2023 11:38

I’ve watched three episodes of The Witcher… mehhhh.

I’m just so tired of monsters, magical powers, swordplay, plot twists and cliff hangers.

Sartre · 14/10/2023 11:51

Loads of things but I wouldn’t say I really wanted to like any of them, I ultimately knew they wouldn’t be for me and they weren’t. Game of Thrones is one of them, really not my cup of tea.

StasisMom · 14/10/2023 11:59

This is us and Friends. People give me a funny look when I say the latter , as if I'm psychopathic. It was too twee and contrived for me.

I didn't like her till I saw Happy Valley... So don't let that put you off. James Norton is bloody brilliant, there's playing against type and then there's him in this.

Ladyof2022 · 14/10/2023 12:04

Peaky Blinders. Watched the first episode twice just could not get into it or work out what was going on. Anyone want to buy my boxed set?

Ladyof2022 · 14/10/2023 12:07

Also, flea bag. I thought the main character was very unlikable: rude, vulgar, and the program seemed to be trying far too hard to shock the viewer, presumably to get attention and ratings.

IncomingTraffic · 14/10/2023 12:07

Ozark for me too. Everyone is just so utterly unlikeable. And I really hate the way that the female character is somehow presented as even less likeable that her shitty husband. Just awful.

Potentially it could be an interesting story. But there’s literally nothing to care about. The characters are all awful.
