I have very little money to spare so I've recently got into charity shopping. I bloody love it!

Today I purchased 2 T-shirts, a pair of grey jeans and a real silver ring with an aquamarine stone all for £4.96. What a bargain.

This makes me incredibly happy!

I also had a voucher for Christmas and today got my nose pierced (again)!

I took the morning off and had a lie in then got unsolicited positive feedback from 3 different people at work this afternoon - big deal as I changed industry 18 months ago and finally feel I'm getting somewhere.
Best thing was DS parents evening where his teacher was talking about what an enthusiastic learner and lovely child he was and that he felt he no longer needed additional support he had required in previous years. Great day

I went on Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts this afternoon in Universal, Florida. Currently in my hotel room getting ready to go to Halloween Horror Night. (It’s currently 6pm)

Made some hummus for work tomorrow as someone is leaving and was one lemon short. I didn’t think it would matter but you really could taste it needed it afterwards so I went to two shops and couldn’t get any lemons. Popped into my local pizza place and cheekily asked them and offered to buy and they gave me two for free and were so lovely too. Really made me happy and my hummus tastes great too!

Finally getting the correct information for a patient’s pain relief from local hospital and being able to give pain relief.
Son moving to a city many 1000s miles away and finding decent accommodation…am so relieved 😌

My grandson (6) came here after school and whilst I was finishing off work upstairs he was playing outside with his grandad and I could hear him proper 'can't catch ya breath' laughing - gorgeous boy ☺️

I had some lovely quality time with DH this morning while DC both slept in. We've had issues with both DC in various ways recently and it's been putting a lot of pressure on our marriage so just reconnecting, chatting about something other than the DC and having a nice cuddle on the sofa together was wonderful.

Seeing my DGD in her first harvest festival and grandparents were invited. She is four and has just started schools. The songs they sang were lovely and it was so sweet seeing those little faces searching for their nanny’s and grandads the latter being just as thrilled when they saw their own grandchildren! Magic. Just shows the importance of grandparents in a child’s life.

Getting through more parts of my exercise program at the group session than I have previously (only been going a month) and not feeling very tired at the end of it.

Today my day is already full of happiness as I'm baking a cake for a neighbour... she's not asked for one, it's just because .... :-)

Such a lovely thread. I really struggled to see Amy positives yesterday. Today, my dog has climbed into the tiniest gap next to me for a cuddle, and my baby has been very smiley, cuddly and chatty. Now off to meet DH for lunch.

Just got a call, the private Dr I've been waiting to see has a cancellation tomorrow.

Globally delayed, disabled DC3 is finally starting to toilet train (she's almost 6).

Have checked the forecast for our week away and it's not pissing down everyday (it's a UK break so I fully expect this to change 😂)

Today is Ancient Greece day at my son's school, and it made me happy that he looked so epic in a Zeus costume made from a white t shirt, a foil emergency blanket, and some leftover gold paper cups. All the kids looked excellent!

Got GP appointment this morning for my ear infection which kept me awake all night, got seen & already picked up my prescription from the chemist to which GP sent it at 10:30. I hope this medicine will work soon!
