Does anyone else feel sad when TV series finish?

I love watching really long boxsets but there are the odd few that I can't wait to watch and see what happens but equally I really miss watching them once they are finished.

I felt really sad when How I Met Your Mother finished, i binged that recently, Barney was probably one of my favourite ever tv characters, I have felt the same about quite a few others. I think it's mainly when I binge them though rather than watch them over a long period of time.

Has anyone else watched others they feel like that about?

@Thethruththewholetruth I can't believe I forgot about Nashville, I rewatched it recently, I enjoyed it more the 2nd time but cried way too much.

Really sad it's the last series of Ghosts.

MASH for me. Just binge-watched series 4-11 again a few weeks ago.

I'd say Foyle's War except it went so dismal in the later post-war series when Foyle was in MI5 and Sam's husband turned out to be a jerk.

Virgin River

I do like that one, but we have watched it all at normal speed so we seem to have so many breaks with it!

I've watched 2 1/2 episodes and can't continue. I don't like the new feeling. I loved the show before this.

Yep 100% - started years ago with Dawson's Creek and most recently with the Bold Type last week.

I have about 3/4 of season 5 to watch, such a great programme.

Nashville is brilliant isn't it, amazing storylines and great cast. I watched all the concerts after, saw the cast live at the O2 also.
