Why is Rebecca Loos the villian still, she wasn't the one who was married!

I remember at the time how DB came out of it all smelling of roses and remember Loos said she has no choice but to tell her side of the truth. She's still the villian and he's still come out of it smelling sweet!!!

They both did wrong, but he’s got a team of PR people and the press have an interest in keeping him on side because the public like reading about him. RL has no PR people and no value to the press except as hate figure. It’s grim, whatever you think of her personally.

What does the documentary say? Are they still pretending it didn't happen? I always quite liked her but I don't really know why. I sort of felt she was villified when it was so obvious it was all true.

I don't think he came out of it smelling of roses at all. She didn't need to make it public though, she did it for the money and her 10 mins of fame

It's up to them if they want to talk about it publicly, if I was VB I don't think I would, bad enough it was all over the press as it was. Especially after all the shit she got over over that kick

See, I will always argue when people trot out that line “I wasn’t married, he was”. Yes, very nice dear but he couldn’t fucking cheat on his wife without your help could he?

And instead of crawling away when he got bored of you, you decide to sell your story thus hurting and humiliating his wife all over again.

Now Loos has grown up and got a husband and kids of her own she has looked back on her behaviour and cringed but instead of owning it, she’s playing the victim.

Other people made you sell your sordid story for £50k? Sharon Osborne made you feel anxious (because she hates cheaters too). I’m no fan of Vicky B as she uses the press as much as she likes to criticise them, but Rebecca Loos and Dirty David deserve each other.

So Sharon hates herself and Ozzy......How do you think ,Sharon and Ozzy got together? Ozzy was married and had an affair with Sharon then left his wife and kids for her.Thats why I didn't have sympathy for Sharon when Ozzy cheated.Peoples don't realise Ozzy has 5 biological children not just 3 with Sharon,she has successfully airbrushed the first family out.

They may not owe the married persons partner loyalty etc, but they're still 50% to blame for the shagging going on.

He definitely looked like a sly, cheating prick. Cant possibly be denied.

She was the family PA, not just his PA, so knew precisely the set up. She made choices too. Then made a big, fat load of money out of it.

The only victim is Victoria, who for some reason that is dependent only on the fact she doesn't smile in photos, seems to be the villain.

If I recall, RL was portrayed as the hussy who shagged the married man (which to be fair, she did do) but Victoria got an even worse time: her husband cheated on her, publicly, and she was blamed for it. Basically, if she’d been a “better wife” he wouldn’t have cheated. I don’t remember him really getting a tough time at all but the women certainly did.

Apparently an old clip of Sharon Osborne being a twat to Loos about it has surfaced. Which is a tad hypocritical of SO as I’m pretty sure she was the OW herself when she and Ozzy first got together. I think it came basically fashionable at the time to have an opinion on this that blamed one or both of these women but not DB.

Not many people do.He and his first wife have; Jessica-Starshine and Louis Osbourne.Everyone always describes Aimee as the first child but she is infact his third. Thought Sharon was a bit hypocritical for having a go at Rebecca when that is how she got her husband.

@Euridicefortuna I did know that about Sharon, having read her biography and I’m not a fan.

I was just demonstrating the point that Rebecca was milking it a bit to say that Sharon’s comments upset her. No one forced her to go on TV and make a tit of herself singing live on a talent show. She could have just stayed at home gazing at her David Beckham poster.

The second mistake she made was using it as an opportunity to turn herself into a reality tv star.

She should have just faded into obscurity but no, she really tried to capitalise on it.

How would she have earned money? She wouldn't be employed as a nanny ( was she a nanny?) again.

The tabloid media at the time is why she was, and still is, portrayed as The Villain in this particular story.

The mainstream media has changed a lot since social media took precedence over paper, and celebrities can control their narrative significantly more.

I was a teenager in the early 00’s, and looking back, it was an utterly bizarre time during the cult of celebrity. It hasn’t been like that before or since.

I think it was the betrayal that made her come off as a bitch. She wasn’t some random he met in a club- she was the family PA so had a relationship with David and Victoria and the children. She was in a position of absolute trust and sold VB out to the papers for a pay day. She revealed lots of intimate chats they’d had and really stuck the boot.

So I find it impossible to have any sympathy with her. He was the married one but she was also part of their household and knew VB.

I reckon she imagined that she had grand plans to be the next Mrs Beckham and the spiteful interviews and selling her story were here revenge.

I believe the affair partner is just as bad if they are a friend of the person being cheated on though.
