Genuinely. I've nc for this 😳
I'm on my friends boat and the etiquette is to just have a wee, but I've been told the poo procedure and I....just.....can't

We need to know the procedure! I've ibs and if ever on a boat I really need to know poo etiquette as don't have the luxury of being able to just "hold it in"!

Is it like a camping toilet, you can poo in them. Your friend needs to provide some TravelJohn disposable solid waste bags to use for emergencies if she doesn't like poo in the toilet

Is the poo procedure to poo in a bag and put it in the dog poo bin?

Baffled by this procedure. The boat I worked on was 'don't put anything that didn't come out of you down the loo'.

That was the only procedure.

If it's Weymouth Marina, there are loos. I'd assume all marinas would have some somewhere, possibly in a cafe nearby.

I’ve stayed on a boat and were told to avoid pooing on board as everything floats out into the marina/ surrounding water and you weren’t allowed to flush loo roll and it had to all go into a bag which would make the bathroom and boat STINK of shit. Thankfully the marina had toilets tho but you needed an access key.

I find it shocking there’s no toilets at the marina, this doesn’t make sense. Are you sure? What type of boat is it and is it out at sea right now? Or docked up?

I seriously need to go now. We're in a marina on an old yacht that lives here. He lives here. He's gone to take his dinghy somewhere, I'm thinking now might be my only option

Poo into a bag quickly then throw it overboard or, if you can, into a dark corner of the jetty or whatnot so that you can pick it up later? I know it's awful but needs must!

Honestly, get out and leave and go and find a loo. Ask someone at the marina to point you in the right direction. Then I'd be questioning how much more time to spend on a boat without basic facilities and owned by someone I hardly know who has buggered off anyway.
