If you have a mini (car)...

What do you think of it!

I currently have an Audi TT which is costing me way too much monthly and isn't suitable any more for what I need.

Considering a mini but I don't know where to start! So, if you have one, what do you think?

Are they fun? Spacious enough? I'd love to know! 😌😌

Yes it is 😊

I replaced my Audi TT with a Cooper S convertible. It was claustrophobic in the back, the ride was hard and I could never get the radio to work properly. The servicing was excellent, but expensive. Then I had a Countryman, but had to replace the run flat tyres immediately. It depends on what you want of course and many people love their Minis, but I found them rather style over substance. There have been cars I much prefer over the Minis.

They're a cheap car to buy and run but very small and the lack of boot space is ridiculous. Though my teenager is getting one (not brand new) this year from a kind relative. It will be fine for them.

@Jayneisagirlsname
When you change to a higher car I can thoroughly recommend a Suzuki Vitara. I absolutely love mine. It's fun to drive, easy to handle, great visibility and you can see over hedges...

I drive a vitara for a while in my 20s. It was indeed a fun car to drive!

Though now, having read some of these posts, I'm more worried about safety and a mini again. It was something that had bothered me.

They’re pretty solid. I had a back to back collision in a supermarket car park, his Audi needed £2k of repairs while my Mini had nothing but a scratch that I polished out. DH wrote his Mini off completely, the wheels were completely ripped off and he walked away with nothing but bruises.

I've only read about half of the thread but...I'm on my 5th mini! I love them, I like the exclusive for the nicer interior. I had a black one with the tan interior and loved it last summer! Then I've just gone for the white cooper exclusive with the space grey interior.
