One utterly unnecessary thing you really want.

Mine is a tiara - not necessarily an expensive one - costume jewellery really - but I would never have an occasion to wear one, and as I have a face like a homely potato, I’d look ridiculous in one. But I still get that little yearning, if I see one on FB or Etsy.

I do have a library - well, a garage conversion room lined with book cases, but it isn’t big enough for all my books and doesn’t have leather armchairs or an open fire, so is a bit sub par.

And to keep it company, a Valais Blacknose sheep.

Well, a pet smallholding, really, filled with pretty animals.

A complete hair transplant, I have a lot or hair, but it is curly and frizzy and a pain in the butt to maintain, I would so love a head of sleek shiny hair, alas it will never be!

I have the same hair. Dreaded going out if it was ever likely to rain, or even drizzle, as I ended up like Crystal Tipps.

But last week, I had a Brazilian Blow Dry, and it is FABULOUS. I wish I'd discovered it years ago. Heart stoppingly expensive (£160, omg) but worth every penny.

I love the idea of the book wallpaper. Might have to use that in my tiny crooked cottage and just have the one small bookcase with my very favourite books and one small leather armchair.

A big black hooded cloak, like in the Scottish Widdows advert- in my imagination, I would float around in it looking glamorous yet mysterious. I know that I could probably buy one but it would be expensive and, as I am a larger, older woman I would look like a witch.

I’m not sure that’s a bad thing? 😊

I've got to confess I'm a bit disappointed it's a globe, not a glove. I have seen the globes but I was getting quite carried away imagining a glass storage area in each finger!

If I can have an experience as well as a thing - I would love to ride the Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet Train). Especially when the new Maglev one goes into service in a couple of years' time.

I would never have the confidence to travel to Japan, so it won't be happening, but I can dream!

I know I could have an exclusively indoor cat, but my DH loves to keep ALL the doors and windows flung open to let in the fresh air and dust, and the occasional lizard, snake, mouse, bird, and even a coyote tried to come in once! Hmm

More pets, specifically rabbits or guinea pigs. I’ve always loved them but we have 5 animals already and no more space. I also have a small baby so I wouldn’t have the time right now anyway.
