@SingleThreadJoiner that's intense! Hope you can get some help (cleaner?) and don't still have to do everything yourself. I never make it up to 37 hours but even when I work 30-35 for a couple of weeks everything goes to pieces.
I'm currently in the middle of a several weeks period of Not Looking For Work which is a bit naughty really as the money I aim to bring in is part of our budget, but it's just so lovely to be catching up with stuff.
@Peridot1 I didn't realize you can hire people to clean rugs and sofas, I should look into that. (Cream sofa, albeit in an allegedly wipe friendly fabric, and kids who are not that great at eating tidily in front of the TV 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️)
Yesterday:
Phase 1 of clearing up the cellar: shoe rack clearout
Took defunct insinkerator to the skip
Grocery shopping
Today:
Did a temporary patch for DS wall as he has broken a big hole in the plaster by pushing off in his sensory swing
Washed sensory swing and hung out to dry.
Went to buy a foam/cork board for him to push off against and command strips to stick it onto the wall. Not sure how long it will last but our contractor says he will do a permanent fix when he has time.
As a result of buying the board, discovered the most amazing enormous craft store 30 minutes from us. I fear this is going to be a cash sink. The kids will love it.
Spray painted the stupid wrong color metal shelf in the stupid bathroom (which was supposed to be acrylic but the contractors were terrible and I just wanted to get them out by that point.).
Our good general contractor advised against spray painting it on the grounds that the paint might not last long in a constantly wet area, but it was already starting to get small patches of corrosion so I don't think it can be worse. Famous last words.
