Apparently the biggest news story of the year is going to break over the weekend

It’s all overTwitter, or X as it’s now called. One of the Sunday papers is working on a massive story and all staff weekend leave has been cancelled. Channel 4 is showing an episode of ‘Dispatches’ tomorrow night at 9pm but haven’t said what it’s about and lots of people are putting two and two together and saying it’s in conjunction with the following days papers.

I’d love it if it were Aliens. Can you imagine?! But that would be biggest News event since the dawn of humanity, rather than just 2023… I wondered about the X Factor as a lot of former contestants have spoken out about it but we’ve never really had a proper big expose on it either.

I've had this set to record since the beginning of the week (C4 this Saturday 9pm) as the fact that there's no mention of what the Dispatches programme is about on the Sky i button had me pricking up my ears. It's a 90 'special' too. It'll be a damp squib or yanked from the schedules, I bet.
