Apparently the biggest news story of the year is going to break over the weekend

It’s all overTwitter, or X as it’s now called. One of the Sunday papers is working on a massive story and all staff weekend leave has been cancelled. Channel 4 is showing an episode of ‘Dispatches’ tomorrow night at 9pm but haven’t said what it’s about and lots of people are putting two and two together and saying it’s in conjunction with the following days papers.

I can't imagine it's a celeb scandal if it's on Dispatches, unless it's a very famous one and a very serious scandal - placemarking for speculation !

If it's a 90 minute programme on C4 at 9pm on a Saturday night, then I'd say it's pretty big.

Don't care what it is/who it is, it clashes with the rugby, so not watching it

There’s already been a Dispatches on this - it was episode 1 of this current series (22). I think it’s pretty common knowledge that the Tories receive a lot of funding from dodgy Russian-linked sources?? I think it’s very obvious when you see the damage Tory policies have on wider society - if you were looking to destabilise the UK it would be a great investment. So I doubt it’s that!!

Really? Almost 3000 people have just been killed in Morocco, and 11000 confirmed - but possibly up to 30000 - dead in Libya following catastrophic events; as well as all sorts of other things happening in the world, and a breakfast TV presenter's alleged naughtiness is the news story of the year?

I wonder if it might be something connected with Theresa May? Her book has just been published. It's probably senior politics or royalty if the media outlets suggested above are correct. I'm not Tory or particularly politically minded, but I quite like TM.
