And it was neither a bragging nor fishing post. I just looked in the mirror and was a bit (a lot) disappointed - I had to talk on camera today for work and honestly am dreading a bit how I will look. It will be shown in front of a large ish audience..

Confidence projects confidence. Fake it til you make it if you need to. You look brilliant; don’t get sucked in to any bullshit worries about how you look.

@Eartoday 👊🏼tell me more about that perimen how does it manifest? I don’t know what to look out for - my periods were v irregular for a while, now seem to be “normal” again? Xx

I see you've already revealed the answers but I would have said age 36, size 12 and 11st. We have very similar weight and size history OP. I know what you mean about missing the ability to be (fairly) effortlessly skinny! Definitely think body shapes and weight distribution adapt as we get older.

Maybe a 12-14 in modern sizes. It's not a jumper that shows your size/shape. I think you're about my age going on the slight dimpling on your upper arms. But I wouldn't like to say. Grin

IDK if I'm in peri or menopause but no signs yet. I struggle with keeping my weight where I want it, but that's because I eat too much. Grin

I was going to say 12-14. However if you're feeling bad after the Zara visit then don't. The sizings are always really erratic. I also think they're some of the most unflattering changing rooms going.

Jeans look good, I'm not keen on the jumper personally. I guess you gravitated towards it to hide yourself a bit whereas you'd probably look good with something more fitted.

Don’t buy jeans, you’ll suit and feel much more comfortable in skirts and dresses. I’m a 10-12 but with the pouch you have in those jeans. Always feel hideously uncomfortable and can never get jeans that flatter me. Could be you’re the same. For what it’s worth you look pretty good to me Flowers

There isn't a naughty end of the BMI scale. Weight isn't a moral or ethical issue so it can't be "good" or "naughty".

Just seen this thread. I couldn’t guess your age, I’d have said size 10-12, those jeans look good on you.
