im 5’8, 39, 75 kg and a size 12 sometimes 14.
I think I have plantar fasciitis and I thought it could be because I’m heavy?
I’d like to be 65kg, I was around that for most of my 30s, and have been (pre kids) 55kg. That probably wasn’t healthy. I’d be happy with 60kg. I don’t like how I look now, I’m not losing sleep over it just want to do/be better

Well, crap, I should have read the whole thread first before commenting. I wasn't far off on the height though. You look really good, but now that I've read more of the thread (up to this post), I will say that the jeans cut is unkind to your crotch area, as a PP mentioned.

What hits me the most, as I said above, your arms are awesome looking and you look so fit and healthy!

Size 12, cannot tell age with seeing neck & face.
If you are trying those jeans on, I recomend not buying them. They dò not flatter and they bring attention to the crotch.

Do you wear flat shoes a lot? Wearing shoes with a small heel will help a lot with the plantar fasciitis, as it takes the pressure off the tendons that run along the sole of your foot. You could also have tight achilles, so try massaging your calf muscles.

It won't be anything to do with weight.

Plantar fasciitis is often caused by walking too far in silly little flat sandals or ballerina type pumps on hard outdoor surfaces. I got it after jogging on pavements in worn out trainers that didn’t support my feet.

Instead of obsessing about your weight (you’re not even slightly overweight BTW) get yourself some decent quality shoes with proper arch support, and/or some arch support insoles. Also look up exercises to relieve the plantar fasciitis, such as calf stretches. If necessary get a physio to look over your exercise routine and suggest some modifications.

If that is Zara you’re shopping in it’s very small fitting, for waifs. Same as H&M. Do not let European stores make you feel bad. The women the sizing is based around are like miniature fairies.
