I’ve always worn left and now I’m favouring right. Apparently one is the right and the other is wrong.

so, I’m asking here on a Friday night…

Left

Vinotinto78 · 25/08/2023 21:26

Left. And I’m a leftie.

BrennieGirl · 25/08/2023 21:26

Traditionally you're supposed to wear it on left aren’t you? But I wear mine on the right.

samlovesdilys · 25/08/2023 21:27

Right, along with bangles etc ...and am left handed if that matters?? I don't like anything on left wrist!

LampsAndWatches · 25/08/2023 21:28

I think I was always told left. My watch doesn’t match the colour of my wedding band these days though.

tough Friday night decision

Right and right handed. Wearing it on the left just feels wrong.

ISeeARedDoorAndIWantToBreakIn · 25/08/2023 21:29

I’m right handed and I wear my match on my right.

00100001 · 25/08/2023 21:29

Left hand, and I am right handed

MerryBeard · 25/08/2023 21:30

Always the left with the face facing inwards. I do a manual job and if I wear it the other way around it gets scratched to bits.

LampsAndWatches · 25/08/2023 21:30

I’m right handed
I knock my watch a lot on my left wrist

Bananaspliff · 25/08/2023 21:30

Left wrist and am right handed.

hexsnidgett · 25/08/2023 21:31

If you are right handed and wear your watch on your right wrist, what happens if you are holding a Brew and someone asks for the time?
I wear mine on the left.

lucysmam · 25/08/2023 21:31

Left for me. Feels weird on my right.

LemonLimeDivine · 25/08/2023 21:31

Left

Purpleplace · 25/08/2023 21:31

Left, I’m right handed. I used to do right, but switched when I painted at sixth form about 20 years ago and it stuck.

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 25/08/2023 21:33

Left and am right handed. Easier to do it up with your left hand.

MixedTocopherols · 25/08/2023 21:34

Left wrist. I’m right-handed. The winding mechanism is on the right side of the watch, so that makes sense.

Traditionally it should be on your non-dominant wrist, afaik.

bellac11 · 25/08/2023 21:34

Always worn it on my right, Im right handed so its more natural to look at it on my right

I realise that the knob is on the side which means its meant to be worn on the left but really, who uses that all the time, watches dont get wound up like they used to

LateOnTheBandwagon · 25/08/2023 21:35

Right and right handed. Always feels incredibly clumsy when I am trying to look at a watch on my left wrist !

soundsys · 25/08/2023 21:35

Left!

Pearbear · 25/08/2023 21:36

I wear on my right and am right handed. It feels wrong and uncomfortable to wear on the left side, though I know that’s the side they’re meant to be worn on.

BarelyLiterate · 25/08/2023 21:36

Left, and I’m right handed.

JulesJules · 25/08/2023 21:37

Right and right handed

itsgettingweird · 25/08/2023 21:37

Left wrist and I'm ambidextrous but favour my right hand!

I wear my charm bracelet on my right!

FannyCradocksDoughnut · 25/08/2023 21:38

Left because I write with my right and it gets in the way!
