Do you say Mum or Mom and where do you come from?

I apologise if this has been done before. I have always said Mum or Mummy and thought everyone did. On these threads I often see Mom or Mommy. I know this is the US version but it seems that it is more than that. I have assumed these posts have been written by AI or similar using US English but maybe that is not the case so please can you tell me what you call your mother and where you are from.

My cousin's from Birmingham say mom. Pretty sure it's very common for people from that neck of the woods to use mom.
I use mum. I'm from Scotland.

Mam. I'm from Northumberland.

Mum, from London.

Ma or mum. Mother darling if I’m being annoying. Devon.

Mum. Born in the north, grew up in the south (of England).

I come from a small pocket of West Yorkshire where Mom is used. Not an americanism, my mother called my granny Mom, and my granny called her mother Mom.

Mum or Mummy - South East. Mom or Mommy does sound very American to me. Mam or Mammy in quite a few parts of the UK and Eire .

Mom, from Ireland, from the Irish word Mamaí/a Mhamaí/a Mhaim, not an Americanism.

Mum (South East) but lived in the Midlands for several years and found it really weird that people said 'Mom'.

I say Mom and I’m from the Black Country. I remember growing up with local card shops selling cards specifically with Mom
not Mum.

We say Mom/Mommy, West Midlands. Mum just sounds weird to me, it feels like I’m forcing the word 😂

From the West Mids and pretty much everyone round here says "mom".

I’m not from the midlands but I always think Mom is a brummie thing. Mam is normal up in the north-east where I live. Mum just standard English.

Mam (from Cumbria, with Irish grandparents ), though as I got older I started saying Mum. Can’t remember why!

I'm from the West Midlands and say 'mom' but write 'mum' 😊
