Starship Troopers, I saw it at the cinema when it came out, I have bought it on tape, dvd, and now whatever it is we have.
I must have seen it 100 times, never gets old for me. Service guarantees citizenship.
I even read the book which is not as good.
Also Bring it On the original film, similarly seen it dozens of times. I am currently wearing my East Compton Clovers Tee shirt.
Sky High, a film about a high school for teenage superheros. Absolutely wonderful. Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston have an absolute laugh. And Lynda Carter is the Principal. Its the only Hollywood film I have ever seen that is anti setting by ability in school and pro comprehensive education.
I really want to watch them again now.
Also shout out for Grease 2. Beautifully photographed very atmospheric.

Sisters

it’s a lesser known film along the same lines as Bridesmaids. It’s hilarious and for anyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s it’s super nostalgic. Love it.

ToughFuss · 11/08/2023 22:20

The Princess Bride, Goodfellas, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Fury, 10 Things I Hate About You, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Pride and Prejudice (KK/MM edition) and, of course, Lord of the Rings, extended editions only ofc
