Every day I walk past my local taxi stop and no day do I see a man as heavenly looking as young Robert DeNiro Hollywood truly lies to women

Maybe it was different in the 70s. They probably all looked like him back then

About a boy

The Devil Wears Prada

So far these two are the only ones mentioned that I rewatch.

My taste is fairly predictable & not highbrow:

The Switch
Just Like Heaven
Sully (adore this movie)
The Terminal (super acting)
Pete's Dragon (remake; I watch this regularly but get very emotional so I pace myself)
Christopher Robin (possibly my favourite movie. I love it. It's hard to find on streaming services, my DC got it on DVD for me, so happy!)

Harebrain · 11/08/2023 21:37

Highlander, The Gentlemen, Little Shop of Horrors & Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

BinkyBeaufort · 11/08/2023 21:39

Billy Elliot

thatsn0tmyname · 11/08/2023 21:39

Alien and Aliens.
Agatha Christie boxsets starring Peter Ustinov, Joan Hickson, Margaret Rutherford.

Strange mix.

RJ2023 · 11/08/2023 21:39

The Dark Knight (Batman)
Apollo 13
First Contact (Star Trek)
The Descent (the perfect jump scare in that film still gets me!)
Chernobyl (not a film - more of a mini-series - but it captures what happened so incredibly accurately).
Any film with Leslie Nielsen (Airplane, Naked Gun etc.)
