Watching Pulp Fiction for millionth time. I could probably watch it once a week and not get bored.

If I stumble across The Blues Brothers on TV, thats it, Im stuck there.

Oh, and the first half hour or so of the Big Lebowski. The initial scenes at the bowling alley and Philip C Hoffman I could watch again and again.

I don't like most comedies or romantic films... but You've Got Mail is my ultimate comfort watch.
That and: The Fellowship of the Ring (if I had to choose 1 of the 3) and The Secret Garden

Ragwort · 11/08/2023 20:44

Apart from the occasional musical I really can't watch a film more than once, I wish I could, it must be a pleasant way to spend an evening & my DH sits through the same films more than once but I just think 'I know what's going to happen' and totally lose interest.

Life of Brian. Great satire never, ever gets old and its wonderful parody of ridiculous identity politics, when Stan declares he wants to be a woman, is more relevant today than ever.

Ulomp · 11/08/2023 20:51

Taxi Driver.

I find it quite soothing.
